It would appear after the recent sellout of PT to the highly toxic and heinous army, that the entire Thaksin family has become almost completely irrelevant. My woman's family who used to be avid supporters won't even talk about them anymore.

I think most of Issan has abandoned the Shinawatras, they tarnished their legacy for good, by jumping into bed with the wrong reptiles.

The 23rd February is 2 ½ months away and then we shall see the reshuffling and musical chair in full swing - be patient and get your popcorn ready ;-)

It's a waste of everybody's time commenting on this matter, even though I am doing just that, we know the Shinawatras are rotten to the core. He has no intention of serving a day in prison.

It won't be long before the current prime minister is removed and replaced.

He's pleasant enough but hasn't the cunning, knowledge or expertise.

Maybe, he's too nice a chap to lead a corrupt filthy government. He looks like he has that extra chromosome 21 as well.

It's hard to believe that this family has been removed from power not once but twice by the army, yet here they are back again getting up to their same old tricks, the Shinawatra bank account comes well before the interests of the Thai people. I guess the military have been instructed to remain in barracks no matter what, but the senior officers must be grinding their teeth with frustration.

Frankly it is nobody’s business, unless you can provide evidence that the physicians are “ faking” his diagnosis.

What physicians?

There were rumors he'd get a Royal Pardon yesterday, on Father's Day. That didn't happen. Now the sense is that he'll have to tough it out until February, although something around 1/1/24 gets mentioned in the local rumor mill.

'Come the next election they will be wiped out along with the other traitors who stole the election from the winning party Move Forward'

Unlikely, the current govt will take steps to amend the constitution to ensure no-one who is not on board with the status quo has a chance. A repeat of the last election for sure.

The world doesn't give a rat's fart about Thailand. What happens in Thailand is only of interest to those who live there, and even a sizeable number of those don't care either unless something happens which directly concerns them.

Exactly..

Come the next election they will be wiped out along with the other traitors who stole the election from the winning party Move Forward ,the Thai people will not forget this farce it stinks to high heaven . The current unelected PM continues to hide by visiting countries as we all know it is not he who is running the country it’s his puppet master trouble is he’s been in exile for 17 years the youth of today are not stupid they want rid of the old guard and it is they who will ensure that a Democratic Party that wants change will soon get into power

Come the next election, it matters not what the result is.

A coup will restore the current status quo.🙃🙃

This was "the plan".

Exactly. Thaksin would never have accepted to come back knowing he would ACTUALLY spend time in jail. The whole thing is a sham and a slap in the face of the Thai people.
