This may be the sort of "fake news" the PM was referring to when he mandated a crack-down.

The Police may have to tread lightly, the woman is said to be an influencer in China, so the usual strong-arm tactics/extortion may not be advised.

Any good looking woman who's well-dressed in the Nana area is going to attract attention, what is the big deal, why is that dangerous, what is the issue?

Why such shoddy and inarticulate reporting?

What do you mean? What is wrong with the reporting of her repugnant behaviour?

Bloggers beware! Police in Bangkok say a Chinese influencer who posted “negative content” about the capital could face legal action. But they’ve also admitted they’re not sure what form any legal action would look like

How about they declare her a 'tax resident' and make her pay taxes on all of her Chinese income.
