The answer to your second point is the first point. "Just looking for customers" is actually a pretty honest stance, cash and carry is the old expression, or quid pro quo, which is even older.. They are much better at the long con as they are more skilled at pretending to be in love with you. You're better off in Thailand. I gave up all the ladydrink/bar fine nonsense many years ago and now use a website and each trip I manage to find a gem. I guess that guys like me are the root of the OP's problem?
