Popular Post snoop1130 Posted January 10, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 10, 2024 Members of the House Police Affairs Committee will visit the Police General Hospital this Friday to confirm whether convicted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra is still there, after the committee received permission to visit the hospital. On Monday, the director of the hospital, Pol Lt-Gen Thaweesilp Wechwitarn, sent an urgent letter to the committee chairman, saying that he had instructed a police officer to lead the committee on an inspection trip of the 6th floor of the Sriyanon building at 10am on Friday, as requested by the committee. The committee chairman and Democrat MP Chaichana Detdecho said today that the committee members will visit the hospital to find out how many prisoners are being treated there besides Thaksin and whether there any other prisoners being admitted to the 14th floor, where Thaksin has reportedly been treated since the day he arrived back in Thailand last year. He also said that the committee will discover whether other prisoners are being provided with the same treatment as Thaksin. Popular Post webfact Posted January 10, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 10, 2024 House Panel To Check If Thaksin Got More Privileges Than Others At Hospital By Thai Newsroom Reporters De facto Pheu Thai boss Thaksin Shinawatra with his daughter and Pheu Thai leader Paetongtarn Shinawatra. Photo: Thai Rath MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE Committee on Police Affairs are scheduled to see on Friday whether de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict at large Thaksin Shinawatra may have been given more privileges than others at Police Hospital. House committee chair Chaichana Dejdecho confirmed today (Jan.10) that he and other members of his panel are asking for a brief visit to the “sickly” Thaksin alongside other convicts currently admitted for medical treatment at Police Hospital and see if the de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict at large may have been allegedly given excessive privileges, unprovided for others. The House committee chair said Police Hospital has already given him and his fellow committee members permission to visit the deposed prime minister and other convicts at the hospital on the upcoming Friday whilst the Corrections Department which is directly in charge of Thaksin’s case has not yet given a response. The House committee members have apparently intended to see the “sickly” Thaksin in person since he was admitted in a tight-security, private ward at Police Hospital and has been staying there for four and a half months now but it will eventually depend on the doctors in charge to decide if the visitors can do so as planned, the House committee chair said. He probably wouldn't even bother, there are plenty of people who will make an excuse for him, No nation of people have perfected the art of grovelling to the degree that the Thais have. If he is in fact there those that go to check on him will approach him on their knees. The same could be said for any of these journalists who appear to criticise him, they are nothing more than keyboard warriors, who would fight amongst themselves for the privilege of administering annilingus if he asked them 2 1
