I had just deposted the 400000 thousand baht 3 days before I went there the woman behind the counter said it needs to be 2 months i asked and said some other people have done the same as me and got theirs. She accepted my paper work and bank details and said she would consider it told me to come back the next day luckily she said ok just a heads up make sure your money is in the bank 2months before you go. Cheers Gavin. 1 2
Liquorice Posted January 23 Posted January 23 (edited) That's the same requirements for the Non Imm O ME visa now, as for a 1-year extension of stay at Immigration. Edited January 23 by Liquorice

Which makes Savannahket Visas rather pointless! Unless, of course Mukdahan and Savannahket now have a community, a hub perhaps, of agents whose purpose is to "assist" applicants for such Visas?
Brickleberry Posted January 23 Posted January 23 They just make the rules up as they go along these days. What a joke. I wouldn't be so annoyed if there was fairness. Women do not have to provide any financial information at all. How backwards is that? 1
Martin71 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I am going to Savannakhet next week to get a non imm o type multi entry visa based on marriage, I have the 400k in a Thai bank, but it has only been there for a couple of weeks... I thought it only had to be seasoned if you were getting an extension.. not the original non o ... or am I missing something here.... 1

If you get knocked back, just get a single entry Non O and the next time around trot off down to immigration and get yourself a proper extension and save yourself a bucket full of money and time. 1
