I am never sure what it is that they want on this form. First some background.

I got a 90 day non-imm o e-visa granted Oct 06 2022

Arrived Nov 13, 2023

A year extension on  Feb 10, 2023

Flew out on May 9 2023

Returned Nov 2, 2023

On the application, after they ask the type of "VISA", they ask when did you arrive. Do they want the date of my first arrival, or when I returned last? My guess is that they want the dates of my last trip that was on the extension.

Thank you. I know I am overthinking it, but over the years I have been hammered with not getting Visa and Extensions mixed up.

Don't feel bad. Took me years to get this one to finally sink in.

Type of Visa would be your re-entry Permit number

Obviously your last entry date.

they are asking for type of visa, I always put non immigrant O, ( albeit that the visa expired years ago) a reentry permit is not a visa

Yeah, for some reason I thought he was talking about when entering Thailand. The TM6 had a spot for Visa number and re-entry permit number was entered if you had one.

I shouldn't make any posts until I'm fully awake.

the easy way to deal with these issues is to get a legit competent agent.. for a nominal fee they will fill out all paperwork correctly...

 

yes, you can do it yourself but if it creates peace of mind - why not?
