She said you might speak to people like that in England but not in Thailand, I wasn’t aggressive just asked how long was it going to be there for. I would lose it on my wife she did this. I've never hit a women but god help me if this happens to me. If there's one thing that I hate about Thailand it's that they can't solve basic problems with communication. It's like living with children that were raised without parents and taught how to interact with others. I mean seriously, his car is blocking your house and it's unreadable to ask him to move it because he's a cop? That's such nonsense. No offense to your wife I know many Thai people think like this. 2

My unsolicited advice 100% defer to your wife on this issue. After another 6 months you may start to understand more about Thailand... There's a pecking order than those who are low down in that pecking order, usually from the poorer socio-economic classes find excuses not to deal with such matters because they either lack to the tools to do so, or consider they may be speaking 'above their station'.... Thai's also find it very hard to place Westerners within that socio-economic pecking order although it may be easier for those in the Ops area as they can see his house, what car he drives, know his Wife etc... and all that counts towards their evaluation of him... How he handles himself in the area also impacts this. BUT.. IF the Wife is saying 'stay out of it'... then she already knows she is lower down in that pecking order and would be considered so in any interaction.... Whereas the OP may well be able to carry himself at a station respected by the 'parking culprit'... (Policeman's Brother).. Some may not appreciated this description of the manner in which ones socio-economic appearance in Thailand matters, nevertheless, it matters... There's only one way to find out and that has been suggested already - get a bottle of booze (i.e. cheap booze such as 'blend') and visit the house, ask them to move... With 'cones' already placed around the car its as if they are 'set up' for that to be their permanent spot - the issue needs resolution quickly. At the end of the day if the fella feels like that I am not going to lose any sleep over it, it’s just sheer ignorance of him which tbh could occur in any country. It could probably be dealt with better in another country but we have no idea the mentality of the owner of the car. 1

Thats not a conversation... That's you saying something that was probably completely incomprehendabe to the other party who still as no idea they are blocking you.. As others have pointed out... this could have simply been a 'helper'... We're you speaking Thai with him, or English ?

You don't speak Thai's so don't know how to deal with the issue any further. Your Wife won't help because she suspect she'll be ignored (or is scared).
