Popular Post webfact
DE FACTO PHEU THAI BOSS-cum-convict at large Thaksin Shinawatra is expected to be given further privileges even after he has been released on parole later this month, according to a former lawmaker. Ex-Democrat MP Thepthai Senapong today (Feb.8) posted on his Facebook page to say the authorities might probably allegedly look to sustain double-standard favours for the de facto Pheu Thai boss to the extent that no ankle bracelet be attached as otherwise enforced upon others on parole. Thepthai was apparently referring to government officials dutifully taking care of the “sickly, untouchable” convict, ranging from those of the Corrections Department and Police Hospital to the Probation Department. The billionaire, politically powerful Thaksin, speculated to be released on parole as soon as Feb.18, would likely return to his Chan Song Lah residence without an ankle bracelet since he has been virtually treated as an “angel convict” by the authorities so far, Thepthai said. Popular Post ezzra
This man shenanigan has gone beyond 'interesting' long time ago, so much so it's disgusting already to read the 'news' about this man, what left is the sad facts that we're reminded again and again of how corrupt and crooked this country is when it comes to big names and big money... 1 7 2

Popular Post OneMoreFarang
I predict he will be free. And he will be told to be quiet. And obviously he will agree to anything as long as that brings him freedom. And then, after days or weeks or worst-case months, he will open his mouth again, and again, and more of the same. And then let's look what happens then. I don't imagine that he will get away with a big mouth like in the past. We will see. 4 2

Popular Post renaissanc
I think that a lot of people will be thinking: "Thaksin has paid a lot of money to all the right people to receive special VIP treatment, so of course, he won't have to wear an ankle bracelet. That's part of the package. After all, how could he heal from his 165 life-threatening illnesses if he had to wear an ankle bracelet?" 1 4

Popular Post Purdey
What's the point in being richer than a farang pensioner if one has to follow the hoi polloi? Wealth is power, power creates wealth. The trick now is to re-enter politics while looking sick. Tough one. 1
Popular Post 1duckyboy
It's not out of the realm of possibility that his criminal record could be expunged or he be given special dispensation allowing him to hold political office. Sweet Swede
We live in a world that is devoted to serving the rich and privileged, while treating the rest of mankind like garbage. This is valid in all countries today, whether they are capitalist, fascist or name themself as communists, although they totally play by capitalist rules.

KhunLA
It pays to be a friend of #1. Nothing has surprised me, and shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Elite privileges extended the same, worldwide. Many non elites get the same treatment. You just don't read about it. Some fair, some not. 1 1
