After you land you are given a paper where you can get a tax number and a free unlimited health card use.

 

You go to open a bank account and they give you 2 years of free banking and a platinum non secured credit card just because you arrived yesterday.... just because "we trust our clients". 

 

There is no other place to report....ever. You are free to stay indefinitely.

 

You join one of many programs....like how to find a job, free language courses and they even pay your bus ticket to come and chat with them.

 

Speaking of bus drivers, they wait for you to enter and exit. Disabled are treated with respect. 

 

You find out that everything the others spoke about Thailand is a lie. The country is not going down the toilet and is actually doing pretty well. The streets are clean and air is breathable.

got a nice 2 bedroom house in phuket right now for 13k baht a month. so with conversion to funny money that's 9 dollars canadian.

i hear family physicians are in abundance now throughout canada. the lack of fentanyl in canada is very appealing as well. why not take your wife for a stride down east hastings in vancouver. she will love it.

And I've got a good enough 3 bedroom house for 10kbht/month just outside CM.

My healthcare costs for a 'hit and run' (broken collarbone, 5 broken ribs, collapsed lung, hospital  stay, 8x physio) are around 10kbht paid by government minimum insurance. No waiting lists at all, though sometimes it takes as long as 4hrs to see a doctor, and physio once made me wait 15 minutes.

Pravda was one heck of a liar, and from Pravda came Celcius who will be bitching about Canada in a few months as well. Got to love losers. 

 

The 22 square meter place was his wife's. She is going to be surprised when she finds out Celcius is expecting her to support him in Canada as she did in Thailand. He is a naturalized Canadian as well.

so two or three blocks in Vancouver look like a dump.... kinda like On Nut on a good day.

 

Plenty of real estate in Canada that is cheap as chips. Edmonton comes to mind.

many years ago my parents came to thailand to visit me. upon landing at bkk airport my dad had a heart attack. he was whisked to bkk hospital where he had numerous cardiologists to help as soon as he arrived. at which point he had another heart attack as they were working on him. 

 

he survived and made it back to canada. still alive today. had this happened in canada i have no doubt the care he would of received would of been garbage to what he got here and that he would of died. response time. availability of proper doctors. medical facilities. etc. 

 

ps....my dad was also the VP at the big hospital in our city. so i have  pretty good insight into the canadian hospital/medical system. my brother has also worked at that same hospital since he was 16.

The only thing that is free, is the sun coming up every day. All those freebies actually ruined western countries, as well causes the taxes to be so high. Not sure what this even is about, the promotion of some ice cold country nobody wants to go to? That's why they beg for foreigners to move there right? I'm getting job offers to relocate there all the time too in IT.

I like Toronto, but, no thanks.   A little too chilly half the year, though not a big thing, as good time to explore southward. Or northward to Toronto when USA is too hot.

 

Not a Canuuk so would have to rely on OTT USA healthcare   Housing prices and reasonably priced EVs or solar the other negatives.   They total up to way too much monthly expense to justify change of location.

Far to many tourists from the USA, UK, Australia, NZ who land in Thailand with absolutely no health insurance back home.

 

The western Europeans on the other hand all have compulsory health insurance by law, that fully covers abroad.
