Thaksin has been convicted as being corrupt and thus a greedy liar, hence running away to Dubai, the detention in hospital etc.

The thing that gets me in this forum is how farangs take sides in Thai politics. All Thai politicians are bent especially the ones in senior positions. I married into a large family outside of Korat. Believe me when Yinluck was PM they had some sort of future. When the Army took over illegally they hit rock bottom. Let Thaksin become PM again and  if he's not up to the likening of the Military then we will be back to the cretins from the Army to take over again.

I can vaguely remember back to 2006 when Thaksin was deposed and at that time I probably agreed with it, but that was 18 years ago.

 

The same thing when Yingluck was deposed 9 tears ago. I know that I was in favour at the time as I believed what I read on TVF at the time.

 

It took me a couple of years to realise that it was all BS spread by the military.

 

What I do find a bit odd is how you, who only joined ANN 4 years ago know what I posted 18 years ago. I wonder why you would be looking that far back at MY posts, trying to find something or anything to try to discredit my current posts.

 

I can't even remember what I posted last week, let alone 9 or 18 years ago.

 

Then again the past is the past. Its over, let it go.

I know!  She was removed by the Constitutional Court before the coup took place and at the time of the coup Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan had replaced Yingluck as caretaker prime minister.

I really don't hate Thaksin he is just another sad old hypocrite who will be dead soon, the establishment have already neutered him and he has paid for the privilege of returning by betraying his supporters and country. He is beneath contempt 

 

I do dislike the way the Thai people are being treated by their establishment and the way they have been indoctrinated to just accept it. I also dislike the complete disregard for the rule of law shown by the establishment and I find it embarrassing so God only knows how educated Thai's feel about it

I do think the treatment of the Thai people is shameful and embarrassing. I know I can't change anything personally but when I see the establishment pissing on the people then telling them it's raining I won't stay quiet and accept it
