Accident Drunk Driver Causes Fatal Crash in Chonburi, Motorcyclist Killed

A crash in Chonburi has resulted in the death of one motorcyclist and left another severely injured after a drunk driver crashed his pickup truck into a motorcycle, dragging it more than 60 metres along the road. The incident occurred at 23:00 on April 26, along the Phanthong-Mabpong Road in the Phanthong District of Chonburi. Police and rescue teams quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the white Isuzu pickup truck, with front-end damage and a shattered windshield. The driver, 34-year-old Wasun, appeared to be intoxicated. Nearby, the wrecked Yamaha Fino motorcycle lay on the ground, with skid marks visible along the road for over 60 metres. The female passenger, 48-year-old Duangjai, was severely injured and rushed to the hospital, while the male rider, 44-year-old Sarn, was found without a pulse. Despite efforts from the rescue team to resuscitate him, he was declared dead at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing the pickup truck accelerating aggressively after the traffic light turned green, speeding off at high speed. One witness, who had been following the vehicle, noted that it had rapidly pulled away from the traffic light and moments later collided with the motorcycle. Upon questioning, Wasun, the pickup driver, refused to speak and did not provide any statement. He was arrested and taken to the police station, where a breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol level significantly over the legal limit. Wasun has been charged for causing the death and injury. I know this is a piss take account, probably run by someone with another forum account, but Gloss reportedly joined the Russian Army because he thought it would get him a Russian passport without having to actually do any fighting. As you imply, its sad that he was apparently an anti-fascist, yet joined a fascist army. No doubt when you referred to him dying heroically, you are referencing him attempting to frag the drunken Russian officer forcing them forward. There is nothing heroic dying for Putin. -

Agreed. 25 million deaths over 15 years. That's basically a rounding error in the projections. News flash. We could save 25 million people in one year if we spent all our money on saving people in other countries. But we're broke. In debt to the tune of $35 trillion. A lot of that debt being from do-gooding around the word. But my question is why the US is being singled out? If more money would save more people, why isn't every country spending more? Why is it that the American taxpayer is to blame? -

Crime Gunman Opens Fire on Lorry Drivers After Road Rage Incident in Prachuap Khiri Khan
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A 29-year-old lorry driver was wounded in the early hours of 27 April, after being shot during a violent road rage incident on Phetkasem Road. The attack occurred at around 03.00 near kilometre marker 315+600 in Ban Na Thong, Khlong Wan subdistrict, Mueang district. Officers from Khlong Wan Police Station and rescue workers from Sawang Prachuap Thammasathan Foundation attended the scene. Initial reports stated that the injured man had already been rushed to Prachuap Khiri Khan Hospital by fellow lorry drivers due to the severity of his injuries. Officers subsequently inspected the scene, where they found five spent 11mm bullet casings and one bullet head. The area was poorly lit, making the investigation more challenging. Forensic officers collected the evidence for fingerprint analysis. The injured man, identified as Mr Ampol 29, had been shot once in the side near the waist and remained in critical condition. Witnesses, including 34-year-old Mr Wut, recounted the dramatic events. He and Mr Ampol were transporting energy drinks from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province to Hat Yai, Songkhla province. Mr Wut explained that while passing through a green traffic light in Prachuap Khiri Khan town, a bronze-gold Toyota Vios with Prachuap Khiri Khan plates abruptly cut across their lorry from the left-hand lane. In response, Mr Wut followed the Vios until reaching the point of the shooting, where he overtook the car and activated his hazard lights to signal the driver to stop. Mr Wut and Mr Ampol then approached the Vios and asked the driver why he had cut in front of them. The driver denied any wrongdoing before suddenly drawing a handgun and firing multiple rounds at close range. The gunfire narrowly missed Mr Wut, knocking his hat off, and he and Mr Ampol fled in different directions. Unfortunately, Mr Ampol, described as heavier set and slower to escape, was struck in the torso by a bullet that entered from his lower back and lodged in his chest. Mr Wut quickly returned to assist his injured colleague, driving him directly to hospital for emergency treatment. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
