Immigration Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TDAC
Yes I am aware of all the long term stay options. I am now 68! Been going there since I was 47 and was so planning on doing the Non O once I hit 50. Then the US embassy stopped the Income affidavit letters. Such a shame as that was so convenient. That made it a pain to put money on deposit there or transfer money monthly especially if I was not going to be in country much. I almost bought the Elite Visa as I can afford it and it is somewhat of a convenient device but they changed that now and raised the price. Not sure how long I will be staying or coming or going. Most likely I will just do the 60 day visa exempt on arrival and do a 30 day extension. Do that twice a year with a gap in between. Then I will see how things go.- 1

Cases of Constipation and Hemorrhoids in Thailand?
Thanks for this quick reply! But what is it in their food (Thai and/or Isan food) that causes these problems? Would you know? I keep telling my wife to eat of the cereals I prepare myself in the morning. Sometimes she does, most of the time she reverts to Thai-Isan food. NB 1: the cereals I prepare myself with rolled oats (no sugar added), mixed with whatever nuts and dried fruits I can find. When I can, I include dried prunes (known to be a good laxative). I believe that's excellent food in the morning, and with that in the belly I can easily go until the afternoon! NB 2: I hear of several people in her village having cancer... -

Cases of Constipation and Hemorrhoids in Thailand?
The crap she eats will eventually give her colon cancer. In any other normal country the symptoms would be a tell tale sign to stop doing what harms you. But not in Thailand. My wife's friend had some cleaning staff who did not poo almost 1 month. They also thought it was normal and never told anyone about it. They died in the hospital. -

Report Thailand Launches Aggressive Campaign to Eradicate Dengue Fever
Typical Thai response...reactive not proactive. Brazil once trialled a new initiative in one of its major cities. Police patrolled the city, ordering people to cut down vegetation and remove breeding grounds like plant pots full of water. This worked very quickly because mosquitoes are territorial so don't stray further than a few 'blocks'. Unfortunately, the trial finished and people went back to their own habits so the mosquitoes returned just as quickly. -

Do you need to show passport when paying for evisa Vientiane?
LOCA app is good too. Also lets you use QR code scan from a credit card with a small fee.
