You didn't answer about those locked up without a trial.

The only ones locked up without a trial are those locked up waiting for a trial. Please provide a reputable source for your unsubstantiated statement.

That’s a remarkable claim.

Care to back it up with some evidence?

exactly what the current administration’s is doing now.  everything you accuse Trump of doing is already being done by the democrats!!

When has anyone been charged by the Justice Department without clear evidence of one or more crimes being committed?

It was actually quite a good decision by the SC.

And also a good news for the Dems as trump being banned would have allowed Nikki Haley to be nominated for the election.

You will also note that it did not rule on the reason Trump was initially banned for.

In your view I'm sure that would be without any evidence whatsoever.

...and those that peacefully protested didn't go to court. You already say that it was "mostly" peaceful, which suggests that you agree that some of it wasn't peaceful. The perps got what was coming. Nowt wrong with that.

I think the US justice system is doing fairly well at doing that right now, including the 91 (at last count) indictments against Trump himself. I hope he gets convicted and sent to jail before the election in Nov, but if he doesn't, I sincerely hope he isn't re-elected president. That would be a catastrophe. Of course, I'm living in Thailand now and have for 20 years, and I don't expect to ever go back there to live. But I would hate to see what would happen to the country if Trump got re-elected for my kids', grandkids', and great-grandkids' sake.

What bothers me the most about Trump is how many supporters he has. It's about maybe 35-40% if the citizens. I just can't understand that, but it makes me sad there are so many who evidently think like he does.

You can't have indictment when there are no evidence. It is a formal written accusation of a crime. Trump has 91 indictments or felony counts. Many more may come later. Trump is a magnet for crimes.

I agree with this for two reasons:

First, the insurrectionists were told to do this by the President of the United States

Second, they had reasonable grounds to assume the President of the United States was telling them the truth.

So this is all Trump's fault for lying about the election, ergo he is the only one who should be in jail. The rest are just simpleton buffoons, products of the American Educational system not teaching them to think critically.

I agree with your supposition, but these "buffoons" broke into the capital building, fought with police, and just MIGHT elect Trump president again. I say, lock 'em all up.

Shocking . . .

Hope so! In fact lets hope America has  a real investigation as opposed to the Polosi hired J6 committee .

Maybe than the  “ remaining incriminating  videos “

will be  released and find what roll federal agents played in it , besides being undercover.

None of the people convicted for their part in the J6 attack on the Capitol have been convicted for ‘protesting’.

They were each convicted for felony crimes, that’s not an opinion, it’s a fact:

We'd have to know the details to determine more accurately if these were fair judgments.

But, two things we do know from the above information is:
- Connie Meggs was a woman, and in general, women seem to get shorter sentences than men for similar crimes. I've noticed that while watching TV and seeing a group of people convicted of a crime, like murder, and if one's a woman, she always seems to get the shortest sentence.
- And, Connie Meggs is much older than Ethan Nordean, and older felons seem to get shorter sentence.
But I suspect in these cases, the details of the offenses are also very different.

Is Biden a woman? He got nothing.

NOTHING,  he has not been charged with insurrection no matter how much you try to say otherwise!

Jill Biden, Joe Biden's wife, is a woman. Joe is a man. Of course, I have no proof of this.

What do you mean by "got nothing"? Do you mean jail time or a fine for something? No, as far as I know, Joe Biden has never been convicted of anything.

Not having been charged for insurrection is a bit of a low bar, don’t you think?!

Gawd only knows what kind of angst we are going to have to put up with when Trump’s criminal trial in NY gets underway in 11 days time.

yes, you can be accused of a crime when totally innocent, once lodged you have to go through the system, so 91 indictments are just 91 accusations, most of which are politically motivated to try to keep him tied up in the legal system and not out on the campaign trail!

i hope he wins and then switches everything back on the Dems, however i dont think the reps have enough back bone to do it

perhaps not living there for 20 years means you're out of touch with how things are for the average person and why Trump has the support he does!
