Report Tourist Chaos in Thailand: Drunken Stunt Sparks Online Outrage
Depends how you emphasize that. Only Thai people have dignity? Or Thai people have nothing but dignity? Hmmh. The first option could be derogative towards others and the second option is it too. -

Report Cannabis Warning for Britons in Thailand: Leave It Behind or Risk Jail
That´s a "Good" man. He know that his fellow country men need that specific little extra warning to understand, while people in other countries get it through the regular channels. 😂 -

So many food item prices continue to escalate every few weeks
Has anyone noticed how much coffee has increased in price at 7-11 over the past 6 months. A thai brand 45g pack of freeze dried coffee was 44 baht just 4 months ago, the same packet is now 58 baht. That's a wopping 32% increase ..... and many other items are similar. Is 7-11 pricing regulated ? who sets the price increase on items .... is it CP ? the factory ? or the farmer ? have you noticed a sharp increase in stuff you buy ? I realize Makro & Tesco and others have increased slightly, which is indicative of inflation, but I'm wondering why some prices have really escalated. -

Blair says current net zero policies 'doomed to fail'
Blair is part of the problem, pushing the fake 'climate change' BS, when that was the in thing. Now big oil funds him, so what ever benefits him. He's right, need to produce more energy, and fossil fuel makes that easy. After his climate change policies help create the problem. ... "Environmental record Blair criticised other governments for not doing enough to solve global climate change. In a 1997 visit to the United States, he made a comment on "great industrialised nations" that fail to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Again in 2003, Blair went before the United States Congress and said that climate change "cannot be ignored", insisting "we need to go beyond even Kyoto." Blair and his party promised a 20% reduction in carbon dioxide. The Labour Party also claimed that by 2010 10% of the energy would come from renewable resources; however, it only reached 7% by that point. In 2000, Blair "flagged up" 100 million euros for green policies and urged environmentalists and businesses to work together." ... -wiki / Tony Blair Cutting nuclear instead of advancing it. Pushing alternative, like solar in a country known for crappy weather Cut in nuclear and the failed solar, not picking up the slack. Back to fossil fuels. Unless you still believe the MMCC/GW BS. ... "Low-carbon low The UK’s windfarms also had a challenging year in 2021, with generation falling by an estimated 15% – despite rising capacity – as a result of the lowest average windspeeds in a decade. Reduced sunshine hours and below-average rainfall caused 9% and 26% drops in solar and hydro generation, respectively, with the reported capacity of both sources barely changing. In combination with the decline in nuclear output, this means the UK’s low-carbon electricity generation saw its largest ever one-year fall of 17TWh, shown in the chart below." ... Tourism Thailand Vows to End Dual Pricing Amid Growing Tourist Backlash
Dual pricing only effects cheap backpacker type tourists and sensitive souls. Thailand in no way should appease cheap backpackers who offer nothing to the economy, but take up valuable space. Not only should they put the prices up for foreigners but ban anyone with a back pack from coming into a national park. Furthermore ban hostels. Thailand simply needs to adjust the wording and image of the dual pricing. For example, if you see a price on the wall, but then offers Thais a reduction it may look better than showing two prices on board and you get the dreaded sensitive police brigrade crying dual pricing. In London you have attractions and places that offer discounts for locals, and those not from the area pay more. I see no moral outrage there. Aren't the also planning this for the BTS - where by locals in Bangkok may get a set fare of 20 Baht per person, but others will pay full fares. Wording makes it okay. -
