MOST PEOPLE WOULD STILL prefer former Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat as the most popular politician for prime minister, says the latest NIDA Poll today (Mar 24).

According to the NIDA Poll recently conducted for this year’s first quarter from among a total of 2,000 people from all walks of life nationwide, 42% of the respondents say they would prefer Pita for prime minister, compared to 20% of the respondents who say they could not as yet find “a very suitable person” to fit in the top post of the executive branch.

The poll has found 17% of the respondents say they would prefer Pheu Thai-backed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin retaining his elected premiership whilst 6% say they would pick Pheu Thai leader Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict on parole Thaksin Shinawatra, and 3% say they would opt for Ruam Thai Sang Chart leader Pirapan Salirathvipark for head of government.

Normally, I do not believe any NIDA polls. But it seems plausible that Pita would still be the lead runner for PM on peoples minds. The gov tried to suppress him with their stupid accusations about a station he still owned shares in. It did however manage to prevent his being able to be made the PM. So they hit the right spot there. Now with them trying to disband his party so he still won't be able to be PM may be successful as well. When are the people going to speak out. I am wondering why COVID has made the people so passive now about things. Perhaps this is why the focus on bad foreigners has become prevalent as well. If netizens are focused on something else then they will be passive towards this.

What people want doesn't go very far in their corrupt country.

Gone up 4% since the election which Pita and MFP won convincingly in a democractic election only to be usurped by the military elite.

Not good for him .

Move foreward party will be disbanded , and Pita himself will be banned from politics for lifetime .

" Forty-four MPs of the Move Forward Party (MFP), including its chief adviser Pita Limjaroenrat, could face a political ban for life as they are now the subject of a probe into whether they adhered to the code of ethics over their stance on the lese-majeste law. "

You don't believe it ?

Wait and see ...

TIT

Not part of Thaksins playbook so it ain’t going to happen.

It's a right PITA that being the most popular doesn't really matter in this country.
