Tak—At 1:00 AM, on March 25th, 2024, Tha Song Yang police and relevant agencies intercepted illegal cow smuggling of 128 units at the Thai-Myanmar border, in Tha Song Yang, Tak.

Tha Song Yang police, rangers, and relevant agencies patrolled the Thai-Myanmar border at night. However, eight suspicious pickup trucks were detected carrying 48 cattle. The officers intercepted the caravan and captured eight suspects.

Another report was from police patrol units that a group of unidentified individuals attempted to smuggle cattle of 48 units to the Thai border. However, the suspects were able to flee the police pursuit and crossed the Moei River while leaving the cattle behind.
