Authorities from Phetchaburi Police Station executed an arrest warrant for Jakraphong 'Tong' Bamrungwong, following a warrant issued by Bang Bon District Court.

The charge: fraud. Bamrungwong, caught after voluntarily contacting investigators, was allegedly orchestrating visa scams targeting Chinese workers, charging them 20,000 Baht each, reported Siam Rath.

Victims claimed he vanished after receiving payment. Further investigations revealed multiple victims across various provinces. Bamrungwong, who fled to Samut Sakhon Province, was apprehended before surrendering.

Additional victims within Chai Phatthana, Nonthaburi and Phra Samut Chedi districts were identified. Phetchaburi Police encourage others to report similar incidents.
