Indeed. I saw a Cambodian noodle shop in Boston last week. Maybe Hun Sen has a claim on that too -- you know, because Khmer food culture originated in the Khmer kingdoms of old. -

Accident Car Crash Claims Life of 35-Year-Old Woman on Sukhumvit Road
Pictures courtesy of SiamChon. A 35-year-old woman tragically lost her life in the early hours of the morning of 1 August, after the vehicle she was driving collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler lorry in Bang Lamung district, Chonburi province. Emergency services were alerted to the accident at approximately 01:35. The incident occurred on Sukhumvit Road, heading outward towards Bangkok, in front of the Welfare Protection Centre for the Homeless in Bang Lamung subdistrict. Upon arrival at the scene, rescue personnel discovered a black BMW X1 with extensive damage to its front end, having rear-ended a stationary trailer truck. The driver, identified as Ms Ticharat, 35, was found deceased behind the wheel, trapped in the wreckage. Rescue workers used hydraulic cutters to extricate her body from the mangled vehicle. Notably, markings and damage along the driver’s side door suggested that the car may have been sideswiped or forced into its final position, prompting further investigation. Mr Jeerasak, 32, who was working nearby, reported hearing a loud bang, initially suspecting a tyre explosion. “I ran outside and saw the BMW had slammed into the back of the parked truck. A woman was trapped inside,” he told reporters. He also mentioned seeing another 18-wheeler slowing nearby before it quickly drove off, raising questions about its possible involvement. The driver of the stationary lorry, Mr Somparn, 46, told police he had parked his vehicle by the roadside to rest while en route to deliver electrical appliances. “I heard a loud crash and ran out to see that a car had hit the back of my truck,” he recounted. Police from Bang Lamung Station are reviewing CCTV footage in the area to determine the cause of the crash. They confirmed that the deceased’s body has been transferred to hospital, where it will remain until relatives present documentation for the release. Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Tourism Foreign Tourists in Pattaya Feel "Short-Changed" Amid Local Deals
That was TAT's 'out of the hat' prediction. The reality is that Thailand's tourist figures are continuing to falling and the Government is panicking. Thailand's foreign tourist arrivals from Jan 1 to June 22 fell 4.24% compared to the same period a year earlier, the Tourism and Sports Ministry said on Tuesday. There were about 16.04 million foreign visitors during the period, it said in a statement. Malaysia was the largest source with 2.19 million visitors, followed by China with 2.17 million. Last month, the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) cut its forecast for foreign tourist arrivals this year to 37 million from 38 million. There was a record of nearly 40 million visitors in 2019, before the coronavirus (Covid) pandemic. USA Trump Claims Epstein ‘Stole’ Mar-a-Lago Staff, Including Giuffre
Family of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre responds to ‘shocking’ Trump comments, rejects pardoning Maxwell The family of Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring, said it was taken aback by President Trump’s comments about her when claiming that Epstein “stole” women who worked at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida years ago. “It was shocking to hear President Trump invoke our sister and say that he was aware that Virginia had been ‘stolen’ from Mar-a-Lago,” Giuffre’s family said in a statement Wednesday reported by NBC News and other outlets. Giuffre’s family called on Trump to answer more questions surrounding the Epstein case while urging the president not to pardon the disgraced financier’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell. “Virginia always said that Ghislaine Maxwell was vicious and could often be more cruel than Epstein,” the family added. https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5429649-trump-giuffre-epstein-maralago/
