Curtain Hotel Employees Arrested for Underage Trafficking: A Shocking Sting Operation

Featured Replies

Police arrest transgender Thai women for filming and disseminating ...

Today, in the bustling city of Nakhon Ratchasima, two employees from a typically unsuspected source, a curtain hotel, find themselves in handcuffs. The ladies, namely Jansunun, 46, and Tongta, 47, are under arrest for allegedly functioning as pimps and trafficking underage girls.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Division (AHTD) of the Royal Thai Police orchestrated the decisive sting. The operation, championed by Police Major General Sararut Sohphaso and his dedicated team, sprang into action following a tip-off about the pair's illegal endeavours with girls under 15 years.

The law enforcement officers made a covert approach, posing as customers. The agreement: sexual services from two young girls in exchange for 4,500 baht. As the suspects took the bait, hotel room transaction completed, the officers sprang their trap.

A consequent inspection of the suspects' mobile phones unveiled an intricate operation. A plethora of young girls' images, coupled with explicit chat logs representing various arrangements for illicit services, were discovered. This damning evidence of their operation was promptly seized for future prosecution.

Interrogation saw Jansunun and Tongta concede to their perversities: they brokered introductions between young girls and clients, earning 500 baht per transaction. Each pocketed an equal share, claiming scarce hotel wages drove them to such desperation.

The women face a slew of charges: human trafficking, procurement of indecent activities from children under 15, and profiteering from child exploitation. The AHTD currently houses the suspects pending a robust investigation and eventual legal proceedings.

The dreadful curtain falls on this curtain hotel debacle, emphasizing Thailand's underage exploitation issue once more. It's clear that determined authorities have their work cut out, as the fight to eradicate this heinous crime reverberates through the nation.

This momentous arrest serves as a stark warning to any involved in the sex trafficking industry. The Royal Thai Police are ceaseless in their vigilant pursuit, committed to bringing down those who exploit vulnerable minors.

More and more these articles read like a 12 year old school newspaper editor's wet dream.

  • I thought they referred to the "Love" short time places that had a curtain across where you parked the car/bike for privacy but the rooms are similar to a normal hotel room?

  • Thanks for the info it sounds disgusting. The police do right to shut it down

Must say those two do not look 46 and 47 years old

In-depth, thorough, by strong willed investigators.

Really?

Must say I've never heard of a 'curtain hotel' before. But I've led a sheltered life ...

They're rather uncomfortable short time "rooms." A large room, sectioned off by curtains, typically with drab beds, harsh lighting, and peeling paint on the walls. You are separated by the curtains a meter or so from the guy(s) next to you while everyone is being serviced. NO sense of sexy ambience. More like a trip to the vet to get milked while trying to drown out the gutteral groans right next to you.

If you live in Thailand you are probably only 15 minutes away from one

Really. Someone needs to get a screwdriver to this AI and turn the adjustment screw a few turns anti clockwise.

It's a hotel that you can stay in and a curtain is pulled behind your vehicle for discretion,

It's not a very good picture but you get the idea,

Yes. It seems the AI writing this has no idea what it puts on about such a topic. As well as sensationalising every aspect. Just the facts are plenty. The topic itself is bad enough

Why?

Now, if I went to one multiple times, I could understand your sentiment.

Not so. A curtain hotel is a fully furnished room with bed TV and shower, with parking in front, and both the room and car parking area are "curtained off" so that nobody can see the car (or motorcy)

Yes someone gets it

I have to reply to this I never knew what a curtain hotel was,

It was my birthday so went out drinking and eating with my wife around Sukhumvit

decided to get a taxi home to the place we were staying, a friends house,  taxi green/yellow she told the guy the address and off we go, the taxi driver from surin, isan some where north east, I think of them as the Geordie of Thais,

went over the pinklao bridge left turn into

the curtain motel, as they pulled the curtain behind the taxi I thought it was a robbery or I was going to be shot, anyway after so laughing my wife and the taxi driver confirmed the address, it was on the next soi, no gps 30 years ago,

ps still with the wife!

That set up is mostly found in ancient massage establishments to give a bit of privacy while you are being trample on and having your bones rearranged.

As described by others

Carpark, Curtain, Cat | Curtain hotel Soi Rangnam, Bangkok. … | Flickr

Can be useful if you just want to get your head down for a few hours without paying for a 24 hour hotel. The curtains hide your cars number plates.

Some of these places are themed and very luxurious with jacuzzis , porn videos and ' sex chairs '  One good thing is that no ID is required when checking in. None at all. Just pay and thats it. I have used one in the past when I wanted a place with really hot water for a soak in the bath with the wife.

You got that wrong. What you describe is a Tea House.

Otherwise, the curtains are to hide the cars.
