Yes it is.

There was no "hate" expressed.  That's absurd.

Would you care to clarify this statement?

Yes woman is a word with a definition.

Preface it with the adjective trans, a separate word, and used together that way, has a different meaning.

Yes... woman is a word with a definition... the only true thing that you have said.

Preface it with the "adjective" trans... has a different meaning... NO that is pretend or made up gobbledygook... woman is not transitional.

Talk about needing to "grow up"

Objectively wrong.

You're mixing two different issues here. Firstly, this is just a list of days that some in the LGBT+ community may wish to recognize. They are not priviliges.    Secondly, it appears that the source is Glaad, an informative LGBT website. As far as I am aware this list hasn't been in any mainstream media site, so it hasn't been shoved down your throat as you claim and it's not compulsory for you to participate.

Oh really ... MY OPINION is a bit different, if reading the news

I didn't ask for a definition; I'm well aware of what it means. I asked for a clarification of your term "perverted lifestyle" as you directed it to someone who is gay. For clarification are you inferring gay people are perverts? A simple yes or no so people here know where you stand on this.

None of these have affected you personally, you just choose to be offended by them and moan that they have been shoved down your throat, a ridiculous term.

If I was still working, I would NOT use the silly pronouns, and probably get fired for it.  You really had to tread lightly at work, as it ws 24 yrs ago, and couldn't say some words, or tell jokes.  Freakin bizarre what was considered offensive.  Another one of the reason I left the nanny state of USA.

So yes, it would affect me, along with I wouldn't let my kids near the drag queen thingy.   I took  kids out of school, I was raising at the time, because the one, he got into a fight with 5 black kids, and was winning before it was stopped.

He got suspended, the others didn't.  5 against 1, they wanted his hat.   Lunch monitor confided to me, she wasn't going to get involved or say anything as her kids also attend. W T F, what the hell there for ... oh, to watch your kids.

Took the kid out of school before his 3 day suspension was even over.  Put him & sister in a private school.   With that, I can't imaging the egg shells people are walking on with the pronouns and all the other silliness.

Make not mistake, it affects everyone, direct or indirectly.

You poor dear!

Bless your heart!

You are such a victim!

So unfair!

Oh the humanity!

As regards perverts.....☺️

You can be gay and be a pervert or you can be straight and be a pervert but a perversion is not conditional on one's sexual orientation.

Yeah words like that can really be weaponized. Not pervert but in my case I had a somewhat religious good friend from high school not attracted to him in the slightest and when I came out to him he said you're a degenerate and ended the friendship on the spot. Obviously turned out to not be a real friend but who was the real degenerate? The guy was highly intelligent and went to Yale. I've wondered if he ever grew out of his immature homophobia.

yeah but 24 years ago you could probably get away with "fetch me a coffee, sugart*ts" and then slap the girl's ass when she brought it to you.

and smoke at your desk.

Not at NWA, as that would get you fired.

I disagree with people having XY chromosomes competing in woman's sport, it's unfair and should not be allowed.

Sounds like you had a lucky escape.

In the mid eighties I was still in the closet but trying to slowly inch out, then AIDS hit. One of the advantages or maybe a disadvantage is that if you were supposedly straight you would get to hear what people really thought of you. One person, an acquaintance more than a friend, wanted all gays locked up indefinitely, which nearly happened. Another advocated physical violence. This wouldn't have been said to my face if they'd known I was gay. It was a frightening time.

There's conspiracies floating around that the Williams sisters are trans.

What a crime against humanity if it's true !!

Having men disguised as women competing for trophies with massive payouts and taking away opportunities from real women.

You'd have to look at photos carefully, and photos of when they were really young, to decide for yourself.

Well, it's just a TV show , but some writers are quite smart.

In the Sopranos, one guy was gay and got himself killed.

The conspiracy behind the scenes, though it was never revealed in the TV show, was the guy who killed him was a closet homosexual.

So the guy who is repressing it the most is the one who most wants them dead?

Good for you sugar t*ts. 🙂

I'm not familiar with U.S. employment but a guy (on Reddit) says that you can be sacked for any reason, other than racial, sexual discrimination etc.  but it would have to be a reason that contravenes your terms of employment. This was introduced by Ronald Reagan.

Oh there was another very close friend, even travelled around Europe with him when I was 15, a total genious, went to M.I.T. early, this guy was a piece of work. He would brag about going out to bash gays in areas of town that I knew about as cruising areas. I never bothered coming out to that messed up person. Just ended communication myself.

Coming out is very dependent on your personal situation and the social environment and era you're in. Harvey Milk said come out come out come out wherever you are, but the truth is for some people doing so is ruinous. I only had a few very negative experiences with it with close people (who cares what strangers think). Another was a much closer friend, a guy I had grown up with from a very young age, very close to his entire family, hung out at his house all the time. Unlike the Yalie he wasn't too bright but he was very likeable. I delayed coming out to him as long as possible out of fear of unpleasantness. I faked being straight to him for many years going into earlier adulthood. The guy had issues with his heterosexualty, spent his money at strip clubs, even had an incident with a mental patient as part of his work that ended his career is psychology. Eventually I had no choice but to come out to him as he visited me in San Franciso and I had a boyfriend, and he was very angry that I had deceived him for so long by letting him assume I was straight. I don't know how he would have reacted if I had come out much earlier, but I actually understood his anger because acting straight around him for so long was really a kind of betrayal of friendship and don't blame him for his reaction. Another one where the friendship ended instantly that hurt much more.

Then there was a doozie. Another close boyhood friend, I had backpacked around Europe with him at 15, a genius he went to M.I.T. early. He kind of figured me out based on an incident with some slutty Finnish girls in Munich (we split up as travel partners). That piece of work bragged to people that he went out at night to attack gay people in a local cruising spot that I knew about. Didn't bother officially coming out to that weirdo -- just ended communication.

In the 1980's I don't think my career would have gone much further if I'd come out then. It's much easier now.

Yeah... not necessarily homophobic... more likely repugnance at something that he personally found offensive... get it straight in your head that because someone finds your lifestyle repugnant doesn't make them automatically homophobic.
