You are the one who is dreaming if you believe Pimp’s security are there to ensure your safety. They are there solely for the pimp to be paid and perhaps to ensue the girls have a certain level of performance. You seem very naive on how the game works. 1 1 2

Murder, is what it was. An imposter has come forward to make the police complaint! Good on 'im, and God Save The King. 5

I will, of course, keep my eyes peeled and report back if and when that changes! bob. 1 2 1

Depends how you define or measure 'reciprocal'. My Thai wife has many male relatives and there is a great deal of respect shown in both directions between us. I'm old enough and known thousands of people in my life and I can tell what a persons opinion of me quite quickly. I visit several bars and restaurants where undoubtedly the owner welcomes my input into his/her bottom line but I wouldn't visit them more than once unless I felt that there was an underlying friendship between us. I can't say that's any different to my male 'friends' in the UK and certainly it's the same level of relationship with bars and restaurants there. In short I would say I do have meaningful relationships here in los with Thai males. 4

The run and head kick tells any viewer how the security guy wants to inflict as much injury as possible. These are local guards who are suppose to ensure your safety when visiting an establishment for refreshments not some hired thugs who want to kill and maim any drunk tourist as they displayed in their action. There are proper and civilized ways to handle a bar dispute. Didn't they attend that coarse ? But sadly some folks can't see the forest for the trees. Sack the lot of them and charge & fine the head kicker and lock him up for a year or two. Can't have them damaging the world class resort reputation of Pattaya. well said 3 1

I would say that over the last 5 years and most probably double that, that there has been a noticeable decrease in the amount of bars owned by Brits. Also, your use of words such as pimp explains a lot about your knowledge. Either that or you're just a troll 2

Because of the lies/rumours and conspiracy people. 3 hours ago, LS24 said: As noted in the article "Pattaya police are continuing their investigation, and additional charges may be filed against the perpetrators. It is unclear at this point if the victims will face any counter charges such as for reportedly shoving another customer out of the bar or allegedly breaking the nose of one of the guards." Don't be suprised if these tourists end up in trouble over this. The video from inside the bar seems to show that they probably have to answer for starting this violence. The cocaine/booze fueled tourists started it, also they made problems in tomcats the day before. The brits started the fight after paying up. 1 hour ago, MalcolmB said: I think they are there to make sure that the customers don’t run off after having sex with their girls. The bar this happened in, (helicopter bar) is owned by a Russian guy, there is a group of bars that is nothing to do with this incident whos main man is british, these thugish security were employed by 20 independent bars, they let a Thai thug run it. This was the 3rd incident from these guards, it could have been prevented if they fired them after the first time. 1 2 3 1
