Popular Post newbee2022
5 hours ago, webfact said: Picture courtesy: Pattaya Mail On Tuesday, chaos erupted in Soi Buakhao, Central Pattaya, when an unidentified Scotsman found himself in the unfortunate grip of a bizarre accident. The trouble began earlier that night at a local bar. Heavily inebriated, the Scotsman had an altercation and was left to navigate his way home with a friend. The night took a dramatic turn when witnesses reported seeing the friend push the Scotsman into the street, directly in the path of an oncoming car. Police officers arrived to find the injured man lying on the road, his condition worsened by his intoxication. Rescue workers made valiant efforts to assist but faced a challenging task as the Scotsman became increasingly belligerent, hurling abuse and resisting help. Matcha Sirirom, who witnessed the incident, shared her account with authorities. According to her, the friend’s push was the catalyst for the unfortunate accident. As the vehicle struck the Scotsman, the friend hastily fled the scene, leaving the injured man alone and confused. Matcha quickly called emergency services, who arrived swiftly but struggled to manage the agitated victim. Despite his resistance, paramedics eventually transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Local authorities are now thoroughly investigating the incident. Their primary focus is to identify the friend responsible for the push and to uncover the full details of the events leading up to the man's injury. This incident has left many questions unanswered about the motives behind the friend’s actions and what exactly transpired that night. As the investigation continues, the community awaits answers and hopes for a swift resolution to this unsettling incident. Popular Post Bangkok Barry
It mentions an altercation in the bar, but is that a brawl? I suppose brawl makes for a better headline, even though there is nothing at all in the report to back it up. Popular Post kimothai
On the bright side soi Buakhao is so congested the cars can't go very fast. The victim should thank his lucky stars that he and his so called "friend" weren't at the train station.

It was a brawl, between the 2 foreigners. That's why the Scot ended up on the road, he was fighting. These negative comments should remove, all the bloody comments I see regarding the negativity towards this news article, NOT those who wish all a good morning and have a nice day etc. It's the moaners that get rewarded here again. Popular Post easydoor
Almost every day we read about drunken British men. All over the world they have the same bad reputation: getting drunk and make trouble and fight. Once off they island, they have no limits. We had in the past the same problem with them: they came to Belgium, did get drunk and made trouble. Strange people I say..... I live in Thailand for many years, in a non touristic area with no real bars. When there is a problem, you can witness: it is with a BRITISH. 1 1 1

The report says the Emergency services arrived quickly and that is a lie. It happened opposite Maew burger and I had time to order and eat my burger and chips before the ambulance arrived. It happened before I arrived but Maew did not mention that he was hit by a car only that another farang had decked him. Thai’s rendition of ‘arriving quickly ‘ in Thai time. Anytime before sunrise is quick. again piss poor reporting . Is there a damaged car or not ? A car that big can’t simply disappear into thin air.
