you won't be missed.

careful what you wish for.

being missed is what you live for.

accept the challenge and prove it wrong.

Lots of things possibly but what comes to mind first is if for some reason my ability to transfer money into Thailand was blocked.

Why in the world are you fighting so hard to push other people out of the forum? Are you afraid of leaving alone?

There is always a nearby country that will offer you an account with an ATM card. Not to worry.

Well, yes, daddy, I'm so scared. Will you go with me?

stop deflecting and answer the question.

if you are not a Thai citizen, nor have PR status then you cannot call Thailand your home.

bob.

well at 77, got the LTR so odds are this is my last home stand.  If not, then hopefully there will be another LTR.  Love my life in Thailand.  Miss my other daughter in the US.  Miss one or two others but not enough to make me want to go back to the US.  It is a different country than that in which I was born and raised.  Life goes on and luckily Thailand may change but hope not for the worse.

Starting to fall apart and revealing your true self? Delusional, and calling me your daddy. Little bit creepy asking a total stranger if they wish to go with you? Are you paying the bar fine?

1) If I am forced to reveal US Income and how much in taxes I haved to the US Government to any Thai Governmental Agency 2) If I am forecd pay taxes on US income that has already been taxed.

Hopefully the Thai RD will advise us sooner rather than later if at all about the taxes next year

Wise

Bob, don't encourage the prick Chumpo, you had his number pages ago!

I'm taking first steps to spend at least 6 months here. Don't read this too much now as all the negative nellies make me want to stay in Melbourne. But when here it's fun, nice people, good place to be.

How about no time? Now try and man up a bit, stop shivering in the corner with tear filled eyes and a big clump in your throat. Just take the first step on your journey, alone.

Wait know. Started with no time, and ended with the word alone. Are you sure you understood what you read, or is everything falling apart now?

The Cambodians like tax revenue too. At the moment, not enough pockets there to skim.

If it does become a "new expat hub", expect the same.

Anyways, it has been a fun start of the day. Into my 3rd beer and time for a lunch. Stay strong!
