Visa for Canada for my Philippine GF

Featured Replies

I am having difficulties in applying for a Canadian visa for my GF. I am applying from Canada. Has anyone used an agent in the Philippines to get a visa for Canada for a Philippine GF? There are agents in Canada but they want about $900 to make the application. Thanks

My Cambodian GF will need a tourist visa for Canada next February. Why is it so difficult that you/your GF cannot apply yourselves? Is she needing a tourist visa? You got me worried now.

You can check online about Canadian visas for tourism for Thais. It can take as little as six weeks.

  • 4 weeks later...

I know nothing this but I'm getting to know a Pinay in Canada who wants out. Things are not working for her there.

She told me "My Canadian boy friend had to employ her as his maid in order to get her in to Canada". So she is officially working for him.

You may have to do same? I hope you find easier solution.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for Asians to visit US and Canada! During Trump & Covid time it was openly racist thing.

Thanks. Canada has new visa rule for caregivers starting October 15th. I hope you can get a visa for your gf.
