Crime British Man Fined for Cutting Off Pattaya Ambulance
Picture courtesy of SiamChon. Pattaya police have fined an unnamed British man for reckless driving after he cut in front of an emergency rescue vehicle, made an obscene gesture at volunteers and later crashed into a local resident’s motorcycle. The incident occurred at around 04.30 on 11 August, as rescue volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya were transporting an unconscious victim, from a near drowning incident, to a nearby hospital. While travelling along Thepprasit Road with sirens and lights activated, a foreign motorcyclist riding a chopper suddenly swerved in front of the ambulance, ignoring warning signals. Witnesses reported that the rider weaved from side to side and raised his middle finger at the rescue team. Volunteers attempted to get him to pull over, but he accelerated away, eventually losing control and colliding with a local’s motorcycle. Fortunately, no one was injured. Police from Pattaya City Station were called to the scene and detained the man, who was identified as a British national. He appeared shaken, apologised and was released after agreeing to pay for the damage caused. He claimed he was startled by the sound of the ambulance. Officers recorded the incident and issued a fine for dangerous driving. Adapted by Asean Now from SiamChon 2025-08-11 -

While Trump fails, Carney outsmarts him once again
If you live your lifestyle within the law and had little else to say no one would care - though some might find it distasteful . It seems though you are so judgemental about the ideas and lifestyles of others - transgender, gays, anyone who doesn't believe in Trumpian capitalism. On transgenders the vast majority have the view of live and let live without knowing if there is a scientific basis to it. I have not heard anyone here say they should be able to play sport at the highest level against the opposite sex by birth. So the difference of opinion is not as extreme as the right would like to think. With gays - it's hard to understand - given your lifestyle is abhorrent to many - why you yourself would judge others on what type of partner they prefer - particularly given your every day is your last day mentality. In terms of politics and economics - one example - there was a big focus on difference of medicine prices in Australia and the US. We pay a bit more taxes - get cheap medicine - no screeching or anything else. Biden's policies were in the main part to the right of Australia's right wing party. So not sure why you have to talk in black and white extremes about communism and socialism. That's all.
