Forgot to mention.  I suspect the OP meant Aussie imported beer, not Aussie craft beer, but who knows?

He is delusional if he think VB and Fosters is craft beer !

But yes, VB is available in Thailand.

The ads on TV say they're hand crafted???

Can you buy VB in bulk?

Are you another one of those fake Aussies that seem to be appearing here these days?

These are definitely not craft beers.

No; I am born and breed Aussie. I am a mad Richmond supporter and I eat at Meat and Wine Co most nights when I'm in Melbourne.

Yeah I'm not a sex tourist like the majority around here so wouldn't know. I've seen it in pubs but would rather by it per slab

But you obviously don't know what craft beer is so how would you know what a sex tourist was

Ridiculous exposed troll thinking VB and Fosters are craft beers in Australia

They're hand crafted, it's the same as craft beer. The recipe hasn't changed in the hundred or so years they've been produced.

XXXX, Swan bitter, West End, Cascade, Tooheys etc are all generic mass production beers

Yes I only drink craft beer - back in Australia only Carlton Draught, Coopers and VB. None of the generic stuff

Coopers is now main stream, so I no longer include it as a craft beer.  The other two beers are definitely not craft beers.

Yeah a fair point on Coopers. They were probably the first craft beer company who made it mainstream. I classify it as craft beer as its family owned and taste hasn't changed but its regular in both Southern and Eastern Australia now

Is it true they're the same beer? I was told the same beer, it just ferments differently in the bottle shape

I think from the same batch.. something about the crown beer is better part of the batch or something 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I've heard this too. Apparently the top of the barrels is the crown larger because it comes from the "crown" of the barrel whereas VB is the "Very Bottom"
