The farm will make her parents enough for their needs, while they take care of our things there.

I have my doubts, but good luck with that.

Just general negative about thais?

They already manage the farm without us present.

There is many Thai people who live decent lives, wake up 4 in the morning, and go to bed 8 in the evening. Do not drink or gamble.

But I understand for some it is hard to grasp when only have experience from here, or their own relationships with gf, wife's and their families.

no, implying caution is required for anyone managing anything from a distance.

get off your high horse.

I know a few people that live there.

They like it.

Healthcare is brilliant and, of course, free at the point of use for Brits.

no 90 day reports there!

... and every time you want to get off the rock , you need to show your Schengen Visa at the spanish border ?

You'll easily become claustrophobic there ...

Karachi in Pakistan would be the worst place I've ever been to.

I'd take any of your 3 over that place.

No, just my British passport.

Why would I need a Schengen visa?

FYI

You can travel without a visa to the Schengen area, which includes Spain, for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This applies if you travel: as a tourist. to visit family or friends.

bob.

Ok , right .

Just show your passport will be enough then ....

Karachi in Pakistan

Sounds like paradise:

    1.    Urban Infrastructure and Services:
    •    Overcrowding: Karachi is densely populated, leading to strained infrastructure and public services.
    •    Utilities: There are frequent shortages of electricity and water, and waste management systems are often inadequate.
    •    Traffic Congestion: The city suffers from severe traffic congestion due to insufficient public transportation and poorly maintained roads.
    2.    Safety and Security:
    •    Crime: Karachi has a history of high crime rates, including street crime, gang violence, and terrorism-related incidents.
    •    Political and Sectarian Violence: Periodic outbreaks of political and sectarian violence further contribute to the city’s instability.
    3.    Economic Challenges:
    •    Poverty: Despite being an economic hub, many residents live in poverty, with limited access to basic services and opportunities.
    •    Unemployment: Job opportunities can be scarce, contributing to economic hardship for many residents.
    4.    Environmental Issues:
    •    Pollution: Air and water pollution are major issues due to industrial activity, vehicular emissions, and lack of proper waste disposal.
    •    Climate Resilience: The city’s infrastructure is often ill-equipped to handle natural disasters like floods, which are becoming more frequent due to climate change.
    5.    Healthcare and Education:
    •    Healthcare: Access to quality healthcare is limited, with public hospitals often underfunded and overcrowded.
    •    Education: The quality of education varies widely, and many children do not have access to reliable schooling.

No, those are not your IBANs

Barbie can transfer his $700K to any of those accounts or he can spread it out between all 30 of them. This will prove they are mine.

My top 5 list at the moment is as follows:

1. Cambodia

2. Laos

3. Phils

4. Barbados

5. Gibraltar

how about you lot? do you have a plan B or are you in it for the duration, no matter what?

bob.

I wouldn't worry about it ... there's at least 250,000 ex-SAS and Navy Seal's living here who will join the "resistance".

get off your high horse.

We have practiced this for years already, and have experience by living and working abroad. Have nothing to do being on a high horse.

Managing with a western thinking, expectations, methods and solutions is the main problem for most who fail, but by experience and willing to adjust, you can make something that actually works and will be sustainable.

Anything is possible. I wouldn't call it negative. Just look how many fans there are in Thailand. I've got 5 in my place alone.
