Could this work in Thailand if the MFP or a like party took over

Featured Replies

Could Thailand do the same thing.  It would be interesting to see but I think there are too many corrupt non politicians non governement people for it to work.

Just imagine the change in the Thai schools and the big cities.

On a long run may be possible. At least MFP would have the reigns. The obstacle in Thailand's constitution. It's a kingdom as you know.🙏

Do you really want to live in Singapore?

You could never pay a Thai politician enough. They are in competition with each other and would always want more. Nature of the beast.

No but the government and way it is set up is a lot better than here.

There are some very toxic forces at work, and there are some very toxic individuals that would need to be moved out of the way, in order for Thailand to truly progress as a society, move forward, and rid itself of some of the obstacles that are really holding it back.

Could it be any worse? Yes! In the UK. Oh wait! At least western governments get voted in by the electorate.

I wouldn't want Thailand modelled on what this dictator did. Prime Minister for 40 years. authoritarian, corrupt? Isn't his son now continuing the dynasty? No thanks
