The blaze engulfed numerous shops, causing millions of baht in damage. Police Lieutenant Colonel Ekkasak Khwanwan from Karon Police Station received the report and rushed to the scene with Police Colonel Khunadet Na Nongkhai, the Karon Police Station Chief, municipal firefighters, and rescue teams equipped with fire trucks.

The plaza, comprised of numerous clothing shops, restaurants, bars, and other businesses, quickly became a scene of chaos. Merchants and shop owners desperately evacuated their goods to the street in a bid to save them from the rapidly spreading flames.

The fire, which initially started inside the plaza, rapidly spread to adjacent shops. Firefighters worked tirelessly, using high-pressure hoses to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings. After approximately 30 minutes, the fire was brought under control. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.

The initial assessment indicates that the damage amounts to several million baht. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Phuket Provincial Forensic Unit to determine the exact origin of the blaze.
