Warehouse Fire Near Rama 9

Featured Replies

July 22, at approximately 17:12, a fire was reported at a warehouse near The Plant Village, Rama 9, on Phatthanakan Nakhon 3 Road in Khlong Song Ton Nun, Lat Krabang district. Romklao Fire Station and rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene immediately.

17:20 Firefighters from Romklao Fire Station arrived at the scene. Preliminary observations indicated that the fire was actively burning within the warehouse.

17:22  The warehouse, identified as a single-story structure, was engulfed in flames. Fortunately, the fire was confined to one warehouse, as adjacent warehouses were situated approximately 15 meters away, preventing the fire from spreading. Firefighters deployed four water hose-lines to combat the blaze, which had spread throughout the entire warehouse.

17:34 The front portion of the warehouse structure began to collapse.

18:03 The fire continued to burn numerous small electrical appliances and stacks of paper stored within the warehouse. The entire warehouse structure began to collapse further.

18:19 The fire was contained. Further details and the cause of the fire are currently under investigation.

Local authorities will continue to monitor the situation and conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage. No injuries or casualties have been reported at this time.
