Destination Thailand Visa Gains Popularity Among Expats
Don't forget I spend about 2 hr. just sitting/queuing for ferries, actual time spent in the Immigration office this year was 4 hrs. that's the longest ever, because my new passport reset my application time to January, full of Tourists getting extensions was a pain. Best time to do extensions IME is in the rainy season, June-August for me. Yes I know I could leave and start again, but at 73, I don't want that hassle. -

Kamala Harris’ Contradictions: A Campaign Without Conviction
Each candidate will be dragged through the mud one way or another. She flip flops and tries to appease her audience. Trump can’t seem to keep his foot out of his mouth and goes on rants. It will come down to the people and they will have to deal with it when it’s all over. Tired of all the shenanigans already. Good luck America. -

Lawsuit Challenges Paetongtarn’s PM Status Over Thavi Appointment
Maybe sending Thaksin back to whatever hole he used to hide in would be a good idea! That old fox is NOT good for Thailand!! He is the guy who run the show, no one else! -

Kamala Harris’ Contradictions: A Campaign Without Conviction
It's also a campaign unburdened by the loss of a million full time jobs in the past year, according to the data released yesterday. The country lost 438,000 full-time jobs in August, with the month’s net job growth coming entirely from gains in part-time employment, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data released Friday. Year-over-year, the U.S. lost 1.02 million full-time jobs while adding 1.06 million part-time jobs, BLS data shows. https://dailycaller.com/2024/09/06/impoverishment-part-time-jobs-soar-us-economy-hemorrhages-full-time-gigs/ -

Chinese Man Arrested in Thailand After 14 Years on the Run
14 year of freedoom, but Mr. Yu is still a loser. Now he will face deportation back to China, where they will handle him in a very certain way that will not be so cozy. -

Tim Walz: The Unexpected Strength Behind Harris’s VP Pick
That's a relief. Don't know if we'd be able to carry on the highbrow debate without your cogent observations. However, don't ignore those early warning signs! One should always take care of one's physical and mental health first rather than sacrifice it for some absurd charade of pretending to be just a Centrist commenting on US politics. -

Truck Rampage: Driver Flees 30 km, Jumps into Canal to Escape Police After Shots Fired
Not the best policemanship being unable to stop that maniac when driving the truck. 30 km run after a truck.... Hopefully they might catch the fish. Also they are advised to inform themselves how it's done in US. (Deep sigh) -

Residents Raise Alarm Over Dangerous Utility Pole in Middle of Road in Sattahip
It amazes me that none of the relevant 'authorities' EVER notice danger until there's an outcry, usually after a death or two! Is it staffed by blind officials? Is the road ever used by police?
