Well, as long as you looked into it....

In any event, none of you guys give a whit if it's true or not.

I'm not sure, but by the end of the week, he'll be the greatest American moderate in the history of the world!

  • He is the weirdo who first called Vance weird. He is a race baiter. Looks like a tool.

I don't know his specific policies but I do know that's Minnesota has been in bad decline under his leadership.

Disinformation. He was merely a temporary command master sergeant. He didn't complete the course work required to be a REAL command master sergeant, which he never was. Not at all the same thing, and NOT a quibble. He retired as master sergeant, as the Guard confirms.

Then we have his lying, which you're ignoring, 'cause you need to believe the lie.

And then we have his knowledge in advance about the coming deployment in time to bail out that you've been spreading disinformation about.

Sorry, I provided the direct quote from the National Guard. Case closed.

What is interesting is that you argue against Walz, a 24 year veteran, in favor of Donald Trump, a draft dodger, *on the basis of military service*.

In other words, you have no sense of irony.

Right

I am thinking Trump will be desperate if he loses, and will probably try to overturn the result with violence. Or flee, to escape justice.

Hypothetical scenario: Harris orders Trump to be arrested and detained, in the interest of public order. She has Presidential immunity to do so, thanks to Trump.

Of course, the MAGA cult would be revolting. They usually are. Trump's prediction of a blood bath would come true.

If push comes to shove, Trump goes to Dubai.

What Trump’s Draft Deferments Reveal

Trump’s story is surprisingly typical of his generation—and that’s the real scandal.

By Amy J. Rutenberg

President Donald Trump’s Vietnam-era draft deferments made headlines again last week when The New York Times reported that, as a favor to Trump’s father, a Queens podiatrist may have written the letter that led to Trump’s I-Y medical deferment. That the story dropped on the same day as Trump made his first visit as commander in chief to American military forces in a conflict zone certainly makes for some interesting optics. But Trump is hardly unique. By the time Trump received his deferment, young men from privileged backgrounds had come to expect they would be able to avoid active-duty military service. His story says less about the president as an individual than about the choices America has made as a society about who should bear the burden of military service.

More than 15 million men of Trump’s generation sought to avoid active-duty military service, including George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Dick Cheney, and Dan Quayle. Up to 60 percent of men in the Vietnam generation took active measures to qualify for a deferment from the draft, while up to 90 percent of enlistments in the National Guard were draft-motivated by 1970.

My thoughts ... anyone wanting to avoid that illegal war, more power to them, and they have my deepest respect.

You'd have to be an idiot, to go to a foreign land, not by choice, for no reason, to die for the profits of defense contractors.

Liar. Bald faced lie from a bald faced liar.

And obviously someone like you would never be in a military.

Not a lot of facts offered by you in support of your claims.

You have theories, but no proof.

Jan. 6 officers hit the road for Harris, hoping to make Trump lose another election

olice officers who protected the U.S. Capitol during an hours-long onslaught by Donald Trump supporters on Jan. 6, 2021, are hitting the road for Kamala Harris in hopes of keeping the former president, who is facing criminal charges for his efforts to stay in office by lying about the last election, from winning back the White House.

Former Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn, former Capitol Police Seargant Aquilino Gonell, and current Metropolitan Police Department Officer Daniel "Danny" Hodges will be showing their support for Harris and presumptive vice presidential nominee Tim Walz in the coming days, joining up with the Democratic campaign for the first time since President Joe Biden dropped off the top of the ticket less than three weeks ago.

Dunn and Hodges will be in Michigan this week, visiting Grand Rapids, Flint and Detroit, and the members of the group will travel elsewhere soon, including to North Carolina and Georgia, the Harris campaign told NBC News. During the trips, the Biden-Walz campaign said, the officers would meet with elected officials as well as community leaders to underscore what they call the urgent and immediate threat that Trump poses to democracy.

Yeah, the public employees are all for more money and less accountability.

You are off topic

But yes, a phony gallows that would have fallen down had anyone claimed on it.

I have already posted links to official National Guard sources that back Walz.

Conversely, you have nothing.

This all came up in 2022, and was resolved. Vance is just recycling old lies.

No, I posted links to official National Guard sources that show Walz a liar.

You only lied and claimed you posted links.

Post them back up and I'll apologize, but you can't because it's not true.

US Army gives you 3 months notice for deployment.  Before you ask, I enlisted in 1976.  And NO, I'm posting a copy of my DD214.

So guessing, he dropped out after notification, which, I certainly wouldn't hold against him.   Again, who wants to serve in an illegal war, for defense contractor profits.

The Magat Trump cult  can’t find anything negative against Walz except a DUI for. 1995 so they make up lies.

He served in the military for 24 years, retired and two months after he retired his unit was called up go to the Middle East so FAUX news is claiming he deserted his post.  What do you expect from an entertainment media outlet that had to pay $800 million for lying?

Trump complained that Walz was in favor of convicted felons being able to vote after they’d paid their debt to society. Yet, Trump, a convicted felon is able to vote in FL because they don’t care about a felony conviction in NY. Hypocrite.

He’s a popular governor with no skeletons in his closet, like eyeliner-wearing, couch humper and dolphin sex fan J D Vance, who’s changed his name four times for some odd reason. Who keeps changing their name ? That’s weird, very weird.

Trump dodged the draft to avoid serving in Vietnam.
