Very true. I was brought up in a world where one never abused women, one was polite to others, one never cheated in sport, or cheated anyone else. Hard work would reap rewards.

If there is no one else than Trump to represent the right, then the problem is not Trump, it is all the people who claim to not like Trump as a politician, but who would never consider to do such a job, where so many people will take a whack at you, criticize you, and still try to do the job, in his own ways.

It is probably related to excessive media reading. Daily thoughts being fed into their heads. You have all these non Thais hating Taksin because of it. Same with Trump. It is like they can't see the world around them, the birds, trees, the locals. They tap into this fantasy world of celebs in politics that makes them feel connected and they choose heros and villains. Sports fans do it as well. Movie fans do it. They are actually detaching from the reality next to them.

And if you check the UK news for the last two weeks you will see some tensions based on races not liking each other.
