Ways to get from CM airport to town

Featured Replies

Are there any cheaper alternatives than taking the taxis in the arrivals hall, which seem to start at 150b? I did see a bus stop just outside but someone who was waiting there said no bus had appeared in the last hour. Usually go from airport to Huay Kaew area.

And within the city, are there public transport alternatives to the red trucks?

Just walk it isn’t far and you want cheap.

150B for a taxi is too much!!! Airport, next time bus station.

Walk to Airport Plaza and grab a Red songtaew.

Depends on how much baggage the OP has to cart with him.

IMO if he can't afford 150 baht for a taxi, he should stay where he is.

to be fair ............ I remember the days ( like 30 years ago)  that I used to think like

Tucker.7/11 is out then, fark knows  what your donga /digs is gonna cost?

Jeez, people have nothing better to do than insult you.  I am not sure of the bus schedule or if the red trucks are still allowed to pick up at the airport itself, but if you walk outside to the main road you can get one that has just dropped off people at the airport.  Should be 30 to 50 baht to Huay Kaew.  That would be cheapest.  Using the Bolt rideshare app from the airport might only be 80-90 baht.

Quite standard responses nowadays, sadly!
