Why would anyone care what some stranger thinks? Weird.

Because it gets tiresome to read. If you have a point to make consider making it without some sort of QED statement or emoji as though it is self evident you are correct. I can't get my head around why you support him so strongly - maybe you are ..weird.

2016 - 2020 was a pretty good time for the world, except for covid. No new wars, Abraham peace accords, plans to pull out of Afghanistan properly, making peace with North Korea, keeping sanctions and restricting funding for Iran.

I'm not American, but objectively it's hard to see what the big deal was, democracy did no die, WW3 did not happen, economy was booming. I guess if all you do is watch CNN all day, and go along with the agenda.

Trump negotiated an exit from Afghanistan, but failed to develop an exit plan.

Trump spent taxpayer dollars like a drunken sailor, and compounded the financial impact by cutting taxes for billionaires.

While there was minimal inflation during most of his term, Trump did nothing to increase wages for working Americans, and little else to help them.

Trump talked about infrastructure, but did nothing about it, letting US infrastructure rot during his 4 years.

Trump failed to deliver a healthcare plan, despite multiple promises to do so.

Got the picture, or do you need more?

I think each poster should say who they supported since 1990. I bet all the lefties never supported GOP once.

Deal but only if you give up all the names and future names you used and will be using. It's not hard to spot you but I might be surprised.

The ex President is looking increasing dim and just sort of non-vital. Supposing you brought light inside his body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way? That would be pretty powerful. Maybe a disinfectant of some sort - there's a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning. That might get him dancing again or so some say. I don't know. But I'm better looking than him.

The alternative, which is how Biden left Afghanistan seems worse than carefully planning an exit. The hasty exit gave the Taliban billions in military equipment to use/sell, and US troops and other innocents died.

The spending has been huge in Bidens presidency too.

I don’t know the finer details on all their policies.

As an outsider, and trying to be objective, Trump presidency wasn’t that bad. He is not without his flaws, like Biden. But for the last 8 years, the media/dems relentlessly attack anything he does and makes up so much crap I.e. Russian collusion and several other b.s. impeachment attempts, all proven wrong.

It is so obvious the machine does not like the orange man.

Using that logic, neither does yours.

Mr Trump did say, while describing himself as a "non-Christian" (is he pagan now?), told Christians that they won't need to vote.

Susanlea doing her/his thing again today with a new nick. People are sick of you, I am sure even the Trump supporters wish you would stop, as you make them look stupid.   Getting very frustrated though arent you?

Its only going to get worse as the energy of the Democratic convention continues to grow. Lots of great speakers telling the truth about Trump and his dark vision for America.

The debacle in Afghanistan was partly driven by the collapse of the ANA, a military force that Trumpf and others spent billions building. Trumpf then went into direct face to face negotiations with the Taliban, undermining the elected government, and no doubt demoralising ANA commanders; he was supposed to have their back. He then ordered rapid drawdowns of US troops. Biden should have reversed that idiotic strategy, and that was his mistake. To his credit, Trumpf's plan was delayed by Biden from May 2020 (complete pullout of NATO) to September 2020. Some say that triggered the ANA forces collapse, others will point out it brought some time to allow most of the Afghan airforce fixed wing to get out, at least denying the Taliban most of their air transport, and ground attack capabilties.

Fundementally, Trumpf was naive; he chose to believe the commitments of a fundamentalist religious terrorist grouping over an elected government. The Qatar agreement of February  2020 killed the democratic government of Afghanistan. Trumpf speaking to the Taliban was equivalent to Tricky Dickie selling out the Vietnamese by making friends with Communists.

But it would have been the same, or even worse, if Trumpf had been re-elected (by worse, I suspect he would have been less willing to give vital support needed for other NATO members involved in those final operations, so besides US troops being butchered there would have been British, Germans and others.).

By any measure, Trumpf's tenure was bad, maybe "not that bad", but that was in spite of him, not because of him, given the way his cabinet ended up at times just ignoring him. In many ways, because of that lack of leadership, he was an exceptionally weak leader, despite all the bombastic speeches, and that relates to him as a business man. Most business men go through building businesses up, and learn the art of leadership through that; they inspire people to work to make a business succeed. Trumpf inherited his.

Hence, despite holding advantage, like Jimmy Carter, he failed to be re-elected. Most Presidents seeking re-election, get re-elected, and its PPP to mess that up.
