Worm-Robber Bird: Could this "POKING of HOLES" do damage to my lawn?
I wish you would mention the IPCC much more than this thing....IIRC, whatever that is. I am talking Yes. I am very aware that the IPCC is a political/governmental organization that is very biased.... But, still, let's stick to the IPCC rather than....your IIRC....maybe.... -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
2 months to apply for either type of extension. Neither do the US nor Australian Embassies who were requested to 'verify' incomes. Impossible due to date protection laws, but let's stay on topic. -

Thai Hotels Struggle as Mid-Priced Rooms Fail to Attract Tourists
Simply lowering prices is a loss of face. Many places will go broke before doing that. It's not the same as haggling or negotiating where you see a higher price and offer less. -

Trump Declines Further Debates with Harris as Election Nears
Gosh. Here's a novel thought. Why don't Repubs let the voters decide? Unlike the Dems. Remind me, how many primary votes did Harris get? You can add in 2020 primary votes if you'd like. -

The One Fatal Issue That Both Parties Consistently Refuse to Address
There is some truth to the adage that wisdom comes with age. Not always, but it's a matter of common sense that the more time one has to observe the workings of the world and history, the more accurate the assessments tend to be. Besides, even if bitcoin is a hit, it would be just a matter of time before governments co-opt and make it illegal in favor of their own CBDCs. -

Trump Declines Further Debates with Harris as Election Nears
He still lost to Biden by about 7 million more popular votes. Just his loyal supporters may not be enough for him to win considering the energy and massive funds that the Harris/Waltz team has. He did received a warm reception at the fire station but outside New Yorkers just gawk and were icy to him. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/11/us/elections/trump-sept-11-firefighters-new-york.html -

Worm-Robber Bird: Could this "POKING of HOLES" do damage to my lawn?
Things have come to a sad state of affairs. The OP suspects a bird of robbing him. I am wondering if his previous experiences with women have triggered paranoia. IIRC he has embraced celibacy. Perhaps he needs to get laid. -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
Using the correct terminology and understanding the difference between a valid and non-valid visa and that an extension of stay is a permit, not a visa, is not being pedantic.- 1

What’s the best area in Thailand for expats to settle for long-term living?
The best place for long-term settlement in Thailand? All up to what you want. If you are a Beach Goer, Scuba Diver, southern regions with easy access to the clear sea. If you are after this nations' biggest Red Light District, Pattaya. If you want quite life with low-cost of living, Chiang Mai. Anyone, any other suggestions?
