YouTube music website is a mess now - it's a mumbled cramped mess.

I've said this before and some on here made all the excuses that it is fine.

I read on the internet hundreds of complaints ....

When someone is signed in ....  the auto play is automatically on ...so it'll continue to play songs it has chosen to put in your list.

How do you turn it off   ??

I cannot locate the auto-play toggle switch ..... it's not showing on the open website .

and even when you do find it and switch it off,    it only stays off for one song I have been told ....    it automatically turns back on after one song.

In my list they have added ... All ... Familiar ... Discover ....     and they've added all crap songs that I never selected or played ever.

Then lower down the page,   they have .. Quick mix, Mixed for you ,  and other trash ......    WHY PUT ALL THAT CRAP THERE ....

Then there's all the ' recommendations ' for me ....    dozens and dozens of songs I don't even like or want .....

Then there's the albums they have forced onto you and the website .....   songs I don't want or like...

It is a real mess,   and I can understand why there are hundreds of internet complaints.

It looks ugly,  it's all crammed into one ....

Why can't the just leave the owners chosen music on the list and that's it .....   why put all the recommended, and selected for you ...

Ok, I've had my rant ....   YouTube music webpage is horrible.

i don't seem to ever have any of these issues. maybe the ganja is making me stupid.

If you love music, subscribe to Spotify B199 a month, not video but create your own playlists, and can have on multiple devises

It's the only subscription I buy

Brave browser ....    but I do have Chrome & Opera on the desktop.

It's just they add so many other song recommendations in the queue ....  and it's ' remove from queue ' 100 times ...  haha

I think there's a way to stop them adding recommendations in the settings somewhere ...   I did eventually find the auto-play toggle.

You must be doing something wrong about auto play. I use brave on both occasions and mobile. I never have that auto play issue you mention.

With my mobile I do however have an issue where youtube pauses a playliat and asks me if I still want to keep watching. Do you keep updating brave? I just did another one a few hours ago.

I think youtube knows you are not using chrome. So it does these things because of the advertising fix that brave gloriously provides.

Not sure I could ever use the Internet without something similar to brave.

yeah'    I'll look at that auto-play issue again .....   it seems ok sometimes but as soon as I open the website tomorrow it'll be on again.   I'll check updates, Brave is good,   as is Opera, which is very fast...  I avoid Chrome and I only downloaded because my Condo suggested it with the Wi-Fi for trying to play a movie on moviejoy,   but my wi-fi is free.

well,  I use Google search ....  then You Tube music ....   still get all the rubbish on a black website page ....  Clean Tube ..well I added that extension to my Brave web browser,  it didn't really clean it up too much,   but if I searched using Google Chrome ... then You Tube music maybe that would work ..

I refuse to be spoon fed the music I listen to. About 60,000 songs in my mp3 collection. I keep a subset of those, currently around 450, that I want to listen to. A copy of the 450 is on every device I may want to listen to music on. I use musicolet as the music player, and it keeps track on each device where I'm at in the queue. When I finish the queue, it shuffles the queue and starts over.

Let some internet algorithm dictate what I listen to? Never.
