THis is a RAcist perspective - the Russians Chinese and Indians aren't at fault - the Thai ruling elite are

They're not at fault and "the elites" don't chose who comes but some of us find certain groups repellant regardless of how they got here. Indians, Arabs and Chinese rub me the wrong so I will avoid them.

Thai people don't even like them much right? When I first arrived in Thailand a Thai woman told me a proverb "between an Indian and a snake who do you hit first? The Indian". Curious how the poor Thai people in Phuket are coping with this surge.

Not true. Bali has owned that title for 25 years or longer. It took me 2 hours to travel 2 km. in Legian on a motorbike. And 90% of the trip was on the sidewalk. It is beyond a nightmare. The people who make this a claim do not know what overcrowded is. They don't have a clue. Bali is horrendous. At least the SW third of the island.

Phuket is busy and spoiled. I was there late last year, and never need to go back. Far too many unfriendly, nasty Russians for my taste. But, busy is a relative term.

There you have it.

To all the muppets who claim that TAT make up figures, first, second and third! Gold, silver and bronze.

In the world.
Not to mention Bangkok being number one tourist destination in the world also.

They should put a bronze statue of TAT boss NatthriyaThaweevong up on the roundabout with the hero sisters Lady Chan and Lady Mook.
