His "flaws"? That's like saying Jeffrey Dahmer (or should that be Hannibal Lecter?) had an eating disorder.

And there you go again - showing another 'Freudian slip' - equating a politician with a murderer - do you not see the hypocrisy or the irony of what you are saying.

"equating a politician with a murderer"

Isn't that Trump does every time he drones on at one of his poorly attended rallies?

The link didn't work for me but I watched the opening of Saturday Night Live with the Trump bit - which it appears you are referring too - and it seemed pretty tame and obvious. Saturday Night Live  ain't what it was. You say Trump is going to tear them all down . Stopping free speech doesn't sound like something you would want surely.

They being the Hollywood celebrities that have for decades been influencing society. Will Trump actually release the names of those on Epstein's list - he probably will - and they are terrified he will.  Diddy might do it for him anyway (or his ex-wife). That is who I meant - my bad for not making that clearer - free speech is OK - like that lunatic who 'performed' with a decapitated Trump head - that is how bad they are morally. Imagine if someone did that with Obama's head - the outrage would have been extreme.  You know it - we all know it - if Trump wins they are gonna go on a rampage and destroy things (and SFA will be done), Unfortunately, Trump will not be the POTUS until January - otherwise he would call out the National Guard and shut them down.

Obama deported more illegals than Trump...and built more wall.

I await, with bated breath, a devastating rebuttal of that statement.......

Trump  is a despicable person. Just dumb lucky there wasn't any war, inherited a strong economy of Obama. Regarding his promises in the past, like opening coal mines and bringing the US deficit to zero: he failed. He said he would get rid of Obama care... but he kept it.

For the Trump voters: he just promised to cut gasoline prices in half (he is accusing Harris to be a communist when she wants lower food prices): is there ANY person here who believes Trump can achieve this?

Pre-Covid maybe 2019 I was in a BigC when I had a brief chat with an older Brit. He asked me what I thought of then President Trump. I said I didn't vote for him in 2016 and won't vote for him in 2020. But he IS the President for now and, wishing him any failure for political gain, is for fools.

So I hope Trump is not again elected, but, if he is, I will just as above hope for the best for the country. Edited by jerrymahoney

Of course! Very sensible attitude. Many foreign leaders were not happy with Trump in 2016, but did not say so. Instead, they said they would work on productive cooperation

There are many things Trump will change as POTUS - and I love that he is going to try and do those things as Musk just said - in order to 'save the Replublic'.

One of the things Trump will try to change is how the States run elections for POTUS - which makes a lot of sense, given that it is a Federal position being elected.  This situation came about after the appeal lodged by Texas in December was ruled inadmissible by SCOTUS, because no State has the right to challenge the result in any other State. Texas' position (as backed by over 100 GOP Members and 18 States) was that the States (Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) had illegally changed their voting procedures prior to the election. They had made administrative decisions, allegedly to make it far easier for postal votes to be made and accepted due to Covid, when the law required such procedures to be changed through legislative means. That was in effect, the end of the legal challenge against the validity of the 2020 election - but it certainly was not as many Dems claim was proof that the election was all above board and no errors were made.

IMO Trump is going to create a Federal Department of Elections - like the FBI - who will have authority over all elections in all States for all Federal positions in Government - including the POTUS. The same thing was done in Australia back in the 80s, due to all the 'misdoings' and errors made by State, Regional and Local authorities who ran the elections prior to then. It is about time that USA joined the 'modern world' when it comes to elections - The People have a right to know that an election for such a national position like POTUS is not under threat of being done 'incorrectly' in any one or more States/Regions.

Certainly how a State elects their own Senators and Members is something that should be under their control, but for National/Federal positions, IMO they should not be able to either deliberately or accidently affect the result of a national/federal position - the elections for POTUS should be done equally and the same for all USA Citizens (and only USA Citizens).

We are so lucky that 90% of the Trumpers here are foreigners.

I still don't understand why they waste their time here, rather participating in their home country in support of fascists.

You are really completely incapable of responding substantively. When I ask you the question if it is possible that Trump can cut gasoline prices in half, you ignore the question and start using derogatory words. Tell me: what are the capabilities that Trump has that are necessary to be a good president?

Trump hesitated to give disaster aid to California, until advisors showed him voter data

Former President Donald Trump attempted to stop aid from reaching Californians impacted by natural disasters due to the state's Democratic leanings, a new report claims.

According to E&E News, Trump had to be convinced to send federal disaster aid to California in 2018, when the state was plagued with deadly wildfires that killed more than 100.

Former Trump resiliency policy director Mark Harvey told the outlet that Trump was worried about sending aid to the deep-blue state until he pulled voter data showing that Trump had more support in Orange County, California than Iowa.
