Here of course and if I know the exact time it will be between MrsJ’s legs …..even if I don’t know the time I could do some guesswork.

I'll be here until I go up in smoke. Go back to Farang land? For what? IMHO, the world is going down the toilet, and this is a sort of hiding place. I would hate to be young now, with WW3 around the corner. Carpe Diem.

I completely agree with every point of your comment.

CM actually IS a sort of backwater hiding place.

Not sure, but you and I may live to see.....

The war to end all wars.

here in Thailand, when you have a life crisis or need help, you go to temple, many become monks. Thats the buddhism way to solve mental health problems on surface. Mental health is a huge problem in Thailand, but as foreigners, the only contact we have with people who struggle, is maybe through bar ladies and their families.

Many girls who works bars, struggle with mental health,

From my observation their customers struggle more with mental health.

Funny wording, but yes, I have known for many years that I will die in Thailand. The only time I have left in the last 25 years was to visit my elderly parents. They are gone 12 years now and I have not left since then. My family is here. I have no desire to leave them.

Dear Folks,

If you are like me, then you will have probably given this question much thought in recent years.

Where do you hope to die?

For me, it's a no-brainer....Thailand is where I hope to die.

I am not saying that I often think of dying.

I am only saying that I love Thailand so much that I hope to die here.

Also, I am not so young that I want to travel around the world, just looking for some other place to die.

Thailand, after over a decade of non-stop life here, without leaving, is still the place to die....for me.

There are very few better places to die.

And, dying here has the potential to provide reincarnation, as well.

Here in Thailand, we can enjoy a much more laid-back dying experience.

Death, here in Thailand, is far less to be feared, unlike some places, where they try to keep you alive....until...

The very bitter end, which is always a bitter experience, or so I have been told.

I think that guys like me are lucky to be in Thailand, waiting to die here, when the time is ripe.

I will not be sorry to never return to my home country, or to....  The Main Line......

Death on the Main Line would be far less cheerful, IMHO.

Here in Thailand, I find the prospect of dying far less distasteful.....

What about you?

Are you, as I, equally hopeful of dying in Thailand?

No.

I am not saying that this must happen tomorrow.

And, I expect to die here in Thailand.....maybe.....

In the year 2062....

A year, I predict, will be 1.5 degrees C...hotter than now.

Any good thoughts about dying?

Best regards,

Gamma

I don't live in the US.

Anyway, are they feminine or just slim and pretty?

"The average weight of U.S. women under 30 years old varies based on age groups and height. According to data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), conducted by the CDC, the average weight for women in this demographic is as follows:

Women aged 20-29: The average weight is approximately 167.6 pounds (76 kg).

This figure can vary due to factors such as height, ethnicity, lifestyle, and regional differences. Keep in mind that the average weight has generally been increasing over the past few decades due to lifestyle and dietary changes."

When I go out, I just want it to be a surprise.

Someplace comfortable, and definitely not while sitting on the toilet.

Make sure you don't get constipated then. Straining can cause death if have a weak heart. I had a patient would have died on the bog, had I not found him in time to resuscitate.

I'm not rich enough to have any friends hang around while I die so I don't change my will on them. No kids, thank the deity, and extended family on the other side of the planet.

Then I wouldn't go there.

LOL. You can't escape that final The End in your book of life.

It helps to believe there is a better existence on the other side.

Burial at sea.

Even better than being thrown in the Ping river.

I've donated my body to the university to save the cremation costs.

Unfortunately they have to be in the next room waiting for the body to be of any use, so I might have to be cremated anyway. No service and if any want a cake and a cuppa they can bring their own.

I don't care about a funeral as I'll be dead.

Nothing to do with how rich you are. You just act like a person who got no friends, and based on your mindset, I totally understand that.

I had plenty of friends in my life, but on the other side of the planet now. I don't expect them to turn up.

I used to be in my young days, but I'm a bit old for doing the limbo these days.

I'm quite happy to live my life such as it is on my own. Some of us are capable of surviving without having other people around to keep them entertained.

When I last looked into donating my cadaver the rules stated up to age 65. It wasn't clear whether that was when you applied or when you died. Either way, I was over the limit. The Mrs insists on traditional Thai funeral with guests, food and drink over several evenings so she's taken out Life Insurance on me. Cancelling that now would involve loss of premiums paid to date.

Been here 20 years never been back to Europe but if they introduce the new taxation then I will be heading off to another Asian country where I'm

happy to spend my well paid pensions

Indeed. "May you live forever" is an old Chinese curse.

I don't believe in an afterlife though. That helps me make the most of this one.

I just checked my form, and no mention of age. I think they are just happy to get any bodies at all.

I'd rather that my money goes to charity than to people eating and drinking at my expense.

Many thanks for your information. Proves it's vital to keep up-to-date! I had a look and the only age limit is now the minimum one of 18. Unfortunately, I'm outside the specified weight range of 40-100kg. In case you aren't already aware this appears to be up-to-date; https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0940960217301504#:~:text=The body donation programme began, south) that accept body donations.
