Transport Department Clarifies Fatal Bus Fire Incident to Committee: CNG Leak Confirmed
From what I read yesterday, the insurance carrier was notified of the CNG modification. Otherwise claims could be denied costing the transport owner money. The DLT was NOT informed of the change, so there may not have been annual inspections. Inspections cost money, probably several thousand for a commercial vehicle. There apparently were two modifications, installing tanks in more than one location. Six tanks first, then another five when they realized the bus had a too-limited range. Even if inspected, the workers might not be told about the secret tanks. Splicing in more tanks, adding more lines, possibly no inspections = leaks. -

Having about 50% of the vote and a good chance of regaining the presidency and both houses means it's a viable party. The opposing platform is laid out here: 2024 Republican Party Platform opposed to what's known of Kamala's leftist "values that have remained constant." And good 'nuff for about half the electorate, the rest brainwashed and kept ignorant by media propaganda for Biden/Harris/Walz. All you mean is that, as with most rants here, you don't like the opposition. Oh, well. No, that would simply mean a permanent takeover of the gov't by loony leftist thugs. As @chickenslegs has pointed out, there is a difference between venomous and poisonous. However, you are correct. Poisonous and venomous are used interchangeably with snakes, when poisonous should be reserved for any creature that is dangerous to consume due to the toxins it contains. -

Are you a Citibank customer? Are you certain you were talking to an employee of Citibank? Did you call a number that was given in the email or did you go online to find the Citibank number? It sounds like you are not a Citibank customer. If you are a customer why would you feel uncomfortable giving them your name and account number? There are some inconsistencies about your interaction with the customer service representative on the phone. That has made me wonder if you were actually talking with a real Citibank employee. -

That's true but that's different. Schwab is a brokerage not a bank for one thing. And you have to apply through their international division, which only handles clients who live outside the US. You can't apply for a regular Schwab account. You can get a brokerage account at Interactive Brokers as well. But neither one is going to issue you a credit card. To get a credit card, you have to in principle be a permanent resident of the US (or so I have been told). Citibank offers Global Executive Banking, which allows you to live overseas and have a foreign phone number. But again this is a special division of Citibank that focuses on global clients. So there are exceptions obviously but in principle most banks and brokerages won't deal with people who live abroad. -
