Tm47 online submission "rejected"

Recommended Posts

I have twice submitted my online TM47 report and it got rejected both times,

"Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately."

nothing has changed since the last time ,middle of june2024, when my online TM47 was successfully submitted.

I have recently extended my NON O Thai wife, expiring October 31 ,but this year i received  an earlier date October 16 to return (consideration period as they call it).

So this morning i resubmitted my online TM 47 by changing the date of extension expiring to October 16 instead of the yearly Oct 31.......see if that works!!

OR the two times rejection has to do with that 90 days from now on (roughly January 2) is further ahead than my Oct 31 yearly extension validity?

any help will be appreciated

Thanks for your reply,

After reading few online posts the question is whether the refusal is related to the fact that I am currently in the under consideration period for extending my annual Non-O/Thai wife which expires on October 31.

On the 16h I have to be stamped so I have made an appointment then.

So far in the past I  had no problem with online reporting, probably not possible during the under consideration period?

Only time will tell 😁

Does the application for Extension have anything to do with you telling Immigration that you have been here for the PAST 90 days.

Why the 90 days should be re-set on granting of an extension I cannot understand. 90 days is 90 days.

My next 90 day is due Oct 30th, done last three online, even though there was a trip to Dubai in May. My Retirement Extension is due on Dec 7th, and I know she will remind me that my next 90 day is due on Jan 28th. Never any problem.

Almost surprised that you you are surprised.

Despite numerous posts of success I along with many have received exactly same reply , despite no change of information.

Just using magnifying glass to auto fill.

Seems that currently they are trying to sync TM30 with online reporting.

Incompetent at best.

Suggest report via mail option however this need to be done 15 days prior to due date..

My last two reports required in person to CW. .

For no reason

BTW: immigration will give zero explanation. Don't waste your  time.

I tried a third time by changing the extension expiry date to October 16 which is the date that I have to be stamped, but it still got rejected.

I'm not going to submit any more (sick of it) so the day that I have to be stamped I have also made an appointment for the 90days after lunch.

Not sure what they are trying to do but this is really crazy stuff...... After living at the same place since 2006😣

Just my suggestion.,

Deal with current rejection by doing report in person..

Ongoing do reports via mail option.

If you need advice you can post

I mailed (EMS) in mid-August (with the form, copies of passport picture, and visa/entry stamps, and return envelope with postage) to CW.   I've heard nothing since.  Am out of country now, so we'll have to try again upon return (+89 days).

Anyone else had similar experiences with mailing these in?

I have no personal experience with the TM.47 report because I've never been in a situation where I would have had to submit it. Does this rejection notice come by email or on the online platform?

If you've been out of Country, you'll almost certainly have to submit that first 90 day report in person.

Not so. I've been out of the country last year in August, and did my next 90 day report online as usual

As usual, meaning, you were out of Country between a due report, or you were out of Country when a report was due.

My report was due after my return. Was out of the country for 1 week only at that time

That's the difference.

Last year, a friend and I were both out of the Country and returning within a few days of each other and would both miss our due report dates.
Our 90-day reports were also due within a couple of days of each other and we tried an experiment.

Another friend submitted his 90 day report on the due date (even though he was out of Country) and it was approved. He continued as normal thereafter.

I on the other hand, I did not submit on the due date, being out of the Country.

On return counted +89 days and submitted within the window, only to have it rejected.

Submitting in person, the IO checked my previous reports and was about to fine me for missing my previous report when I told him the reason for that was because I was out of the Country. From what he explained, the 90 day report system is automatic and if you miss a report, the system will still look for the next report date.
Effectively counting +89 days after returning, you are out of sync with the date the system expects the next report.
Therefore, you must submit in person, so an IO can manually reset the due date in the system.

BS or not, I'm not sure.

I was under the impression they can always check if you were out of Country, maybe they just can't be bothered checking.

I haven't been able to submit a 90 day online since last year.
Some people can, many people can't.  And I've found it impossible to get an explanation from Immigration who simply refuse to help or provide any assistance to resolve the problem.  As usual all you get is the equivalent of, "Sucks to be you farang."  Get use to doing your 90 day in person or by mail.

Yep - exactly my experience as well in Northern District 5.

Same problem.
After submitting in person after re-entering the Country, I was able to submit my next report successfully.

However, I then noticed, and it was my error and I always use the drop-down boxes where applicable, but on the first line of the address I mistakenly put 5 Moo 95, when the actual address is 95 Moo 5, yet it was approved  🤪

I should note after that last approved report, the email notifications of an impending report have ceased.

Next due report April 2024, I corrected the address, but it was rejected - the details submitted did not match those on the system.
I resubmitted using the same incorrect address that was previously approved - again rejected for the same reason.

Submitting in person, the IO stated all the details matched the system (how observant they are is anyone's guess) but as I'd been out of the Country the previous year I should be entering the last entry date, and not the date I first originally entered Thailand.

That goes against what I have previously been told, to always use the original date of entry if my permission of stay is continuous.

Only to use the most recent entry date if it's a new entry (no re-entry permit).

I digress, my next report due date is today.
I've made several attempts to submit online using a combination of the correct and incorrect first line of my address and the original and last entry dates over the last few days, to no avail, now receiving the message - report to your local Immigration office.

It's screwed up somewhere, and I'm not sure if they are diligent enough to even look how to fix it.
Therefore, I will visit in person on Tuesday, but will update and submit a new TM30 in the process.
If as, they should update all details with the new TM30, then fingers crossed for next time.

Something is not correct here. If you really submitted your latest 90 day report mid June, then your next report would be due sometime in September, and it would now be to late to report.

Did you mean middle of July?

This extension expires when it says it expires in your pp.

90 days reports have nothing to do with the extension dates.

If your last successful 90 day report was "mid-June" there is no way you can fit in two more 90 day reports since then, only one can be rejected. You should do the 90-day online report 15 days before it says one is due on your last successful 90 day report.

There has been a change for the timing of 90 day reports in Bangkok (CW)  online  can only be done 15 days before up til 7 days before the reporting date it used to be 15 days before up to the reporting date. you are then given 7 day grace period to do it in person  not sure about other offices

https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/tm47online-manual/

It's not a change, it's a mistake.
That's the old info graph for 90 online reporting.
Look at the date > 27th Sept 2013.
