No real regulation who know what is being laced into the weed.

Since it was allowed, ive talked to a number of people who has smoked for years had problems.  One guy brought a brownie got really sick is it any wonder so many are flying off balconey!  :stoner:

That's a worry, you just don't know what you are being given when the source is clandestine. Similar to someone on YT who got very sick with lung infections and was suspicious of vapes he had bought.

Oh the things people do on holiday.  Seems like she's new to weed and over consumed.

Only high level THC weed would do that, just goes to show you it's not controlled

Many years ago, my gf (at the time) and I went to Siem Reap with another couple and had some 'happy pizza' there. My gf ended up throwing up (bit of a buzzkill for me), but I was otherwise very happy. The other girl felt absolutely nothing. But the other guy had a strong paranoid reaction, believing there were Khmer Rouge guerillas prowling outside his hotel rooming window. It was his first time trying this, so maybe he just wasn't ready for it. He didn't mix with any prescription meds and he wasn't much of a drinker. Just goes to show different people can have very different reactions even when other meds aren't in the mix. I wonder if this was the first time for this lassie too...

Are you expecting a medal or something.  Nobody cares about your cannabis use or lack of it. Why are you telling us this

There will be nothing laced into the weed , why would there be?

Even regular smokers need to be careful when eating it is a totally different experience.

How many people do you think have "flown off balconies" following consumption of cannabis since the legalisation?   1? or  2?     certainly not many

Do tell.

Did she keep smoking?

This sort of reaction should dissipate in a few hours.

Weed sounds like fire, need a strain report I think.

Maybe her Danish friend should have left her alone in her room to get over her reaction and just keep a close eye on her in case of any deterioration - call a local doctor perhaps. Now the police are involved and Ms Henderson's retirement vacation could be cut short and involve some unnecessary expenses

I use 3 or 4 dried cannabis flowers mixed with honey and boiling water to make tea. I let it cool and then drink about 450ml from the fridge.

It seems to ease the pain in my arthritic kneecaps. It works for me, though I have no idea if it would work for anybody else.

No hallucinations since I started it about 2 months ago.

A tip for you: Do the Decarboxylation process on those flowers before you make the tea, by doing so you could yield 3-4 liters with just 4g of flower.

I do cannabis butter via Decarboxylation, last really long. I put half tea spoon on my black coffee, a full spoon will be too much!

Decarboxylation of cannabis is the process to convert the CBD and THC into a form that the body can digest fully. By maintaining 110-120C for 1 hour. I use a baking oven set at 100C. Doing for 30 minutes will also work at 125C.

I tried the happy pizza once when I was in Phnom Penh about 10 years ago.  Didn't really know what it was about as a friend suggested I try some.

Wow, it was a very flavoursome pizza that I quite enjoyed.  The topping kicked in later when we went up town to do some bar hopping.

Paranoia kicked in so I decided to return to my room and sleep it off.

Would I try it again?  Maybe but take it slowly. Nice buzz

Must have been Edibles that made her like that for such a long time.

Most people don't know: Edibles are way more powerful than smoking, and when eaten too much it can last very long.

Here is a comparison, the more you eat, the higher red line will be and the longer it will last.

The two lines would be:

  1. Edibles (blue line):
    • Starts at 0 at the 0-hour mark
    • Gradually rises, reaching its peak (100%) at around 4 hours
    • Slowly declines over the next 8 hours, reaching 0% at the 12-hour mark
  2. Smoking (green line):
    • Quickly rises to its peak (100%) at around 0.5-1 hour mark
    • Begins declining more rapidly than the edibles line within 2 hours
    • Returns to 0% at around the 6-hour mark

I used to make edibles all the time, but now I just do cannabutter.

Not really. Weed is known to have a side effect of panic attacks. Usually it happens to newbies, but can also happen to experienced users if using stronger or more than usual weed. The thing is - experienced users would normally know how to deal with it.

No true. New users or those who smoke once in a blue moon might get a panic attack from weak weed as well. It depends on body tolerance, the amount you smoke and also the environment where you use it.
