Pink I.D Card & Yellow Book
No. I got my yellow book, for the condo I own, and subsequently the pink Thai ID card for foreigners years ago but never got any mail or anything else from the Thai Revenue Department. Basically, I got these documents just for fun, for souvenirs, to experience the process, but the yellow book came in handy when I felt like putting a million Baht in a time deposit account at a branch of Siam Commercial Bank (SCB). The nice lady asked if I had a work permit, which I did not have and I inquired if my house registration book would help and her face lit up with a smile and the account was opened in a jiffy. -

Can you please tell us what is the 4G+ router you have, or show us a picture maybe? 50 MBPS is quite good enough for most people! -

CIMB bank
First of all, most Thais don't know them. Few branches. No ATM network. Employer will not send your salary there, for sure. Easier and more convenient to stick to the well-known, ubiquitous names. -

Notifications not working properly
Just my opinion- The topics feed on the LHS is disconcerting. I used to read a post and when I got to the end, my eyes would kind of scan the topics feed on the RHS as I scrolled through. Now it just feels more jumpy to me. PS- I too get the jump anywhere on a thread when I click on a notification. -

Pattaya Beach Road Needs Shade Trees
Palm tree is the worse to give shade. Jomtien beach has different kind, don't know the name. They are on sandy area and give excellent shade. Also, Nha Trang, Vietnam, has similar 6 mile beach but 1000x better thanks to NO Motor Vessels of any kind within 800 meters of shore line! It's so quiet.... and clean. Pattaya & Jomtien are noisy slums... even AIR is polluted by Para Cliders, or what the hell they are? Pulled by speed boats. -
