Even worse on Songkran long weekend.

4 days of hell.

I am writing a book, Banged Up And Banged. My Story Of Finding Love in a Pattaya Cell

I will send you an autographed copy when it is published.

Don't bother, I doubt reading about you being banged by a Nasty Nomad or 3 would help your credibility.

Good that no one got killed or seriously injured. I doubt that the Aussie guy will get into significant legal trouble, but, I think we can be almost certain that all this is gonna cost him quite a lot of money.

May not have been just alcohol which led to this property destruction.

My guess is that it must have been hanky-panky which caused the truck to suddenly veer off the road.

Drinking leads to drugs.

no it doesn't .....   I drink everyday and I don't like drugs

Dudes: alcohol is a drug: 'Drugs are substances that change a person's mental or physical state."

If you drink every day sometimes that is called "self medicating".

Drinking beer is not taking drugs ....   drinking beer at home or out with friends is socially acceptable and has been for a long time.  Taking drugs is not acceptable in any society.

Didn't your parent's or schools teach you ?  .......  drugs are a no go   !!

I think anyone from the old school doesn't accept it ....  I would be sure at least 90% of old folk from my home town don't accept it and look down on anyone who is into drugs ( and rightly so )

It's just something that people don't like ....  they don't like drug addicts that's for sure,  and they don't like drunks, but that's just how it is.

The article headline said Tourist.

Do I have to investigate if he really was?

Type of his stay permit won't matter.

He came here for fun.

But own recklessness made it his nightmare.

That's the point.

What a completely stupid comment. Nationalities which are Australian nationals.

Nationality
Nationality Australian
Major ethnic
Minor ethnic

Some (stupid) people think this is what ALL Australians look like.

Post second world war saw a huge influx of immigrants from across Europe with many from Italt and Greece with surnames like Bruno and Dimitriou.

p.s. It's only the dumb that try to look smart.

Australians are always drunk. When I went to Australia all the staff serving alcohol was drunk.

Have to stay drunk. You don't want to be sober when there are drop bears around.

Maybe you can elucidate a little on this post with alcohol being itself a drug or is your comment a tongue in cheek attempt?
