What all is being done to get it scrubbed up, he was a Professor of Marxian Economics. It does mean he was a Marxist, but it does mean that Harris was not "working class" and doe not grow up in Oakland.

Really, there was a chair of Marxian Economics? And as the Times article noted, a colleague of his noted that he steadily moved away from that. Not only that, but he headed a successful reform of the Jamaican economic system.  Unless you believe that Marxism works, it's dubious that the reforms were based on Marxism.
