This is typical of Thais. Maybe a bit of tonsillitis or pharyngitis and it's off to get a jab or off to hospital. Bit like when it's spitting rain you see them covering their heads.

I used to have to drive to the local university, and I noticed the students very rarely wore a helmet, unless there was a checkpoint. If it rained then up went the umbrellas, particularly the guys. Just shows which part of the body is most important in the eyes of the educated prospective Thai citizens

From what? common cold? Or the same sickness or was  the same you had:  arfraiid of being in jail?

Probably a throat infection resulting from her recent overseas performance.

I met a Thai woman with a throat infection once in a BJ in Pattaya.

Just sayin.

My first thought was - being her father's daughter, who does she have to suck (up to)??

Paetongtarn shared a video of her father’s visit on her Instagram Story, captioning it with a lighthearted message that read, “Youngest daughter falls ill, Dad rushes over, bringing dinner along - cutest ever! Thanks, Dad!”

And that's our prime minister :saai:

He looks ghastly.

The PR photo ops aren't what they used to be.

He actually looks amazingly well for a guy who was very recently so sick he was on the verge of dying of undefined terminal illness, so sick in fact he couldn't even hold his head up, required neck support for that. What an amazing recovery! His medical team should patent their therapy for a chance of winning a Nobel prize in medicine!

I panicked for a fraction of a second when I saw the photo.

I thought OMG. There are two of them.

One is a doppelganger, might come in handy....

Yeah what is that? I get inane answers when I ask family/friends about this.

Sky is very dirty, rain is dirty.

Not clean.

etc

Sure, but you practically live by the seaside way down south, what the heck are you talking about?
