As far as anyone who saw any of this, or she is concerned it was a GIFT. Your word against hers.

Very true.  As with the sin sod, you have to "prove" your wealth by giving it away.

hahah. No it's not stolen. You gave it to her. You deserve to lose it with all due respect!

He says he threw it at her (tossed). What a loving relationship!

@josephbloggs you beat me to it.

Attention-seeking troll post, maybe from a duplicate account.

I agree, but how could you know that it is a duplicate account.

What was your blood THC and or alcohol level at the time you tossed 50 happy endings or 17 really good times away?  We want to know who to blame.

Or just old fashioned sober braggadocios?

I was with my ex, we were dancing and drinking.    I decided I should prove to her that I had money, so I tossed her 50,000 baht wrapped in a rubber band.

This says it all. Out drinking and dancing with his ex. What good is going to come of that unless he was aiming to get back together with her? Then trying to show-off, tantalize, and belittle her by literally throwing a wad of cash at her. How childish and insulting. He then deserves whatever becomes of that cash in any bad/unexpected way.

17 really good times? You mean a good time costs exactly 2,941.2 Baht? What does that buy you exactly?

Let presume for a second that this post is real.

You showed her you had 50,000 THB, almost 2,000 USD. Wow! And it seems you wanted to impress her with that huge amount of money, correct? I think I have an idea why she finished with you...

It might feel like a significant amount to someone who languishes in Thailand on a tight budget, perhaps due to limited savings and a limited source of fixed income.

I assume this is a wind-up, but you gave it to her. Plain and simple.

Now you are trying to take it back.

That’s how you show her how much money you have?

No wonder she dumped you.

Yup,  I was very dumb.    Never do it again.

And no, I'm not a troll.   I am a man short 50,000 baht.

Please don't waste your time with further accusations.

Why put your stupidity in past tense?

Were you drunk?

2900 will get you 2 girls, some yaba pills and a fan room for 24hrs.

If you not too fussy with the girls !

Never flash your cash.

Agreed. Even in private or with someone you love or trust! No good can come of it. Thais (and others) simply see cash as something to grab and spend as fast as possible. If you have cash, then clearly you don't need it (or it would have been spent already). That's the mindset of many Thais. A lesson learned.
