Immigration - totally useless
This is pathetic. If you are struggling here don't whinge and whine, no one is forcing you to stay, you are free to go. -

Where's Harris' Concession speech?: Honey, I have a headache....
That photo reminded me of the beret, something I had to wear for years in the military. It has to be the most idiotic stupid piece of headwear ever invented. Hard to keep on when moving a lot, doesn't shade the eyes from the sun, doesn't protect the ears or neck from the sun. Completely useless in a military sense, yet lucrative for the people that make them. Fidel didn't wear them, which makes him way more clever than Che, who was so dumb, he went off to fight an unwinnable war in a country that didn't care about him and ended up dying unpleasantly. -

Introduction to Personal Income Tax in Thailand
"When a stock is sold, the proceeds consist of the cost ( principal/capital) plus or minus any gain or loss. If there is a gain, only the gain can be considered taxable income". When overseas real estate is sold, the proceeds comprise capital and gain. If the real estate was purchased before 31 December 2023 and sold thereafter, and the proceeds remitted to Thailand, the value of the gain from year end, until the date of the sale, cannot be calculated. There is no mark to market facility for real estate values, on any given date. This means that the terms of Por 162 cannot be applied to real estate sales and the entire value of the transaction is regarded as capital gains. Since capital and gain cannot be separated, any remittance of those funds must be done on a proportional basis, until the total amount is depleted. The TRD does not have separate rules for the remittance of capital gains to Thailand, dependent on the source of the gain. -

Immigration - totally useless
What a pathetic, sanctimonious response. Multiple people have reported on here that online reporting suddenly got rejected after an 'upgrade' for no discernible reason. -

British and Dutch men arrested in Bangkok for drug trafficking
They should look on the bright side, they will, after many years of immersion with the locals, go home with the ability to speak street Thai.
