I object to this arrangement you outline.

Just because, due to the massive number of asylum seekers, NOBODY will EVER be satisfied.

So, just helping 0.1% of the asylum seekers is meaningless.

 

Therefore just FORGET ABOUT this approach and ....

Do what is best for the UK, not to mention the USA.

 

However, send them all to France, if you must send them anywhere but back to their homecountries.

Well, we cannot shoot them .... but treat them like a resource, to be mined and monetised....

 

1. make illegal entry a crime, fine 2,000 GBP.

2. detain illegals until asylum status is decided. Charge them for their keep.

3. provide work. labour battalions, let them pay their way.

4. no benefits for 10 years, for ALL migrants.

5. They have to pay for right to remain status, like legal migrants, but must pay off debts first.

6. can ask for a ticket back to home country at any time.

7. If illegals refuse to work, they will never be released from detention, and they will only get the minimum for survival.

8. Illegals will only be allowed to live in defined areas  until they pay off all their debts.  

 

I agree that the UK is full. We need to dissuade migrants, unless they are people with skills we actually need. If we allow migration to continue at the current rate, UK will see quality of life decline and environment degraded.

The fact is , that had the border patrol force / royal navy used some strong arm tactics in the first place Ie just simply sunk a few of them, we would not have this problem, Yes ok there may have been a few fatalities initially , (boo hoo) but it would have stopped anymore  from trying to get here in the future, so the overall loss of life would have been considerably less than it is

If the apology for a government in the UK would stop criticizing the opposition as bad as they were and concentrated on effective measures things would not be like they currently are. If people arrive without verifiable documentation automatically turn them away from the country. Those they let in do not put them in hotels, give them a free phone, money and free healthcare. You would soon see the number drop dramatically.

A long, long time ago, I suggested the whole EU (of which we were then a aprt) should patrol the Med, pick up all the baots crossing from  Africa, land the passengers back on the COuntry they had set off from and sink the boats.  The cash line of migrants would have stopped years ago (and we would acually have room and inclination to take those who deserve asylum here, like those from Afganistan who helped us but who we left high and dry when we left).
